Great GPS unit
I have only had this unit for a week, been using it all the time around town.
Outstanding GPS
I've only had my Nuvi 660 a couple of days but I have say I'm extremely pleased with my "road tests" so far. The screen is big and bright, the audio is loud enough to use with the windows down, the touch-screen controls are very intuitive, and the screen update speed is more than adequate.
Using the Nuvi 660 in the UK
I just returned from England where I used the Nuvi 660 extensivly with the UK SD card (requires separate purchase). My business partners were incredibly impressed with the accuracy and detail of this unit.It was excellent in locating gas stations, hotels and even a McDonalds for an early morning coffee. At one point the driver missed a turn in a roundabout and the Nuvi immediately rerouted us down what was basically a remote back country road that we would never have even considered to get us back on track very quickly. This unit is truly 'State of the Art'.

So...I have to pay to send it too??? it just doesnt work!!!, and itll stay like that cause i dont want it no more.
After Six Months: Persistent Complaint
I have had this phone for over six months and I agree with much positive that has been said. The sound that I hear when others speak if very strong, but over time I have had to change phones (to a non-cordless) countless times when people have said they could not hear me or that I should "speak up."When I do change phones, the response is that it is "much better!"I know that cordless and corded have different technologies, but one should not need to shout into a phone, ever. There are several settings on this Panasonic that make what I hear crisp, boosted, "improved," but nothing to help others hear me (I speak to groups every day for my work and my voice is good).I am actually in the market for a replacement set of phones---and would greatly appreciate someone telling me of any cordless, Panasonic or other, that transmits a voice loud and clear.
Terrific phone, terrific features, terrific value
This phone does pretty much everything I'd need.Positive surprises is that the handsets have speakerphones built in, and the handsets can all access the anwering machine.I've had pretty bad luck with reception with other wirelesses in my house, the only phone that worked OK was the expensive and finicky engenius brand. This Pana works great and the 3-handset system costs less than any of the single handset versions I've had in the past.

Cool!
For people who want to be a designer. This is the game for you. (Though it does get a little boring.) Just like dream life. Also, the commercial looks like it's only for little kids. it looks like they used the same girl as in the bratz designer contest. Commercial: Stupid Game: Pretty Good.

Sweet item with a minor pitfall
I'm in agreement with the positive reviews already posted here. This item works great and is amazingly small.I have it paired to my Samsung D807 phone and it works like a champ.Instead of repeating the nice comments that are posted in these reviews I wanted to highlight a strange design choice that gave me a bit of a scare and caused me to mark this product down by one star.
Good headset for cellphones with bluetooth.
I recently purchased this item for My cell phone and it works great. It is fully compatible with Samsungs T809 cell phone. It is exactly what i needed for those times when driving. You can't go wrong. It's easy to use and is light wieght too.
Solid.
I have this paired with my Samsung C417 on Cingular for the past several days and so far I've been extremely happy with it.Pairing worked without problem, and the headset and phone quickly re-connect automatically whenever they are powered on and in range. The reception is good whether the phone is in my pocket or in the armrest of my car.The earpiece volume is excellent -- I've so far (office, home, and windows-closed car use) not had to turn it up louder than the lowest two settings. The sound quality is also at least as good as that on my handset (though this particular handset seems to have a particularly finicky speaker).

It's as easy as plug and play
We currently have the Linksys BEFSR41 4-port router/switch for our home network. It's been working great for about 4 years now, but we've now run out of ports.I did some research on the 8 port router/switch product from Linksys, but the reviews were mixed. The reviews were mixed for similar competing products also.So I took the route of getting the EZXS55W to expand our existing home network.I just plugged it into the network and it just worked out of the box.No configuration needed. It's also very tiny.I highly recommend the product.
WORKS WELL WITH MAC'S APPLE-TALK (for me)
Linksys tech support assured me that their were no limitations to this gizmos ability to route ethernet signals. Sure enough, I plugged it in and it's functioning exactly as I hoped. Our internet comes from a cable modem. From that I ran the cat-5 ethernet cable to the Airport Extreem which acts as a wireless router and it also has 1 out port for ethernet, which I connected the EZXS55W switch to. Off the switch I am running a printer (Laserwriter Pro 630) and a desk top G-4. I also have 3 wireless computers on the network and all are running OS-X. All can access the internet, I can print from any computer and fileshare between the whole lot. I couldn't ask for more!
Perfect for 2+ years under heavy use.
I have nothing to report, that is, the device has performed flawlessly in the 2+ years I have owned it.I subjected this thing to almost every scenario except Mac.Read on...

S2 or H1?
When selecting a camera, I was trying to decide between Canon S2 and Sony H1.Why did I select Canon?I just can't get used to Sony's user-inteface, whereas Canon's UI is just naturally intuitive.Since then I've used it on every trip I went on.True, you can't stuff this camera in your pocket, but that's the sacrifice for gorgeous pictures that it takes.I've had no problems with it whatsoever, and I've never regretted purchasing it.Everyone who sees the photos I take comments on how vivid and colourful they turn out - and I compliment Canon on making a camera that takes such good pictures.
Poor Optics or Poor Customer Service?
Love my camera, BUT....
I love my S2!!!
Have only been playing with this for a few days, and am not by any means a serious photographer, but wanted a digital that offered more features than my low-end cameras from other manufacturers. The Canon is heavier and bigger, reminding me in good ways of my most beloved older film cameras. It's really easy to get started. This camera writes to memory MUCH faster than my others, making it far more useful for taking candid shots and the like. It "feels" right in my hands, and the controls are conveniently located for me. Review and delete functions are easy and quick. I'm still on the original batteries. The zoom is great. I'm delighted! And I have to say, so far the manual has been understandable. With the number of features this camera has, I expect to be learning for a long time. I'm very happy so far.

works so far.
I bought this unit to back up files from my wife's MAC and my own PC. So far so good. I don't bother with the software that comes with it, it's OK but not great. Works well enough just to drag and drop files here and there.
Saved My Backside
This will be short and simple. The Retrospect product bundled with the Drive saved my over 70G of priceless data and applications. When it was apparent that my existing drive was failing I purchased a new 250G internal drive (Western Digital) and asked the local well-regarded computer store to ghost the drive to the new one. Couldn't do it. Fortunately, I had used Retrospect to back up my stuff and the store tech was able to restore everything, all the data, programs and settings with Restrospect on the new drive. Buy this product! Use Retrospect. It might save your priceless music, pictures, financial data, etc. Happy day!
Easy to use
This drive does what it says it will do. It's easy to set up, and it's easy to configure. It's relatively fast, and it is quiet as well. The only complaint I have so far is that yes, the power supply does come out VERY easily. I brushed up against the cord, and it came unplugged from the drive. What I'm doing to combat this is putting the drive in a zero traffic area, and making sure the cord is out of sight. However, if you plan to move this drive at all, this might be too annoying for you.

Great GPS unit for the money
Rugged design, waterproof, compact, and with a great color screen.... what more could you ask for!
More accurate than your average husband/boyfriend (for the direction-challenged)!
Since it's portable and waterproof, it's prefect to take along on your biking or hiking trips. I tested my Garmin GPSMAP 60CSxon various excursions in the US and Europe -- and always loved it. I wish I had purchased my little friend long time ago.
unbeatable - with reservations
I've used the 60CSx for three months and carry it with me on all my hikes - mostly bushwhacks in deep, old-growth pacific northwest forests - often in deep canyons - and have never lost signal - (and I'm talking 200 foot trees and thousand foot deep, steep-walled canyons, too.) Accuracy suffers in such challenging terrain but seldom gets worse than +/- 100' and is usually in the 20' range. As previous reviewers have noted, the unit's standard base map is worthless so you will have to purchase another $100 worth of software to correct that problem. Unfortunately, and again as other reviewers have noted, there is a lot to be desired with the extra Garmin software but I've found it to be pretty good for my purposes on the trails and most city data is pretty accurate but there are some glaring mistakes and ommisions here and there.

Very easy to use.
This is a good recorder, and very easy to use. My son and I went through the instructions in about 10 minutes, setting the time, date, etc., and learning how to make and play back recordings. The sound quality is good.
Great quality but poor instructions
The digital recorder has a great quality and I suggest to anyone who wants one to get one. The only issue I had with the Olympus was when I tried to record on another folder, the machine would not record. It kept displaying the message "Full" and would not allow me to record. It promises 16 hours of recording but I could only get 4 hours. I had to erase important data to record new data. Again, great quality, poor features.
Great quality for the money
This is one of the cheapest voice recorders, and it delivers!I think it would be good for any use such as school, interviews, etc.It has hours of recording time, which I don't think I need that much, but you can also index your recordings so it's easy to go back to a certain spot you want to remember.

Close to perfection
To hold this iPod is to be amazed. It is almost lighter than air - any thinner and it would slip through your hands. It is truly remarkable that something so lightweight, so small can do so much. My less than perfect rating is for the screen size and lack of firewire support. As I creep into my late 30s, I simply cannot read text that small anymore, and playing solitaire on that screen really hurts my eyes. The definition & brightness in the screen are truly remarkable, however. I truly miss the firewire iPods. On a Mac, synching was just faster w/ the firewire models - and if I'm on an older Mac that has USB 1.0 and FireWire, I would prefer firewire, but am stuck using USB. *sigh*
So glad i didn't buy a first generation nano!
For Christmas, my dad is buying me an ipod nano. I have been doing alot of research on this little gadget. It appears to be as good as they say it is. i cant wait especially to get games on it, and personalize my settings menu. There is practically EVERYTHING on this ipod! From a calander to a stop watch, to a slide show for your photos to a really long battery life. ipod definetly created a winner.
Lives up to the hype
My friend has one of these fun little iPods. I am hoping to buy one with birthday money, and This is smaller and thinner than the average iPod Nano. Now, you can have 10X more songs. I'm so buying one of these to replace my crappy Creative MuVo N200 (which f***ing broke, by the way.)

Good for music, video, and pictures
Most of the reviews have done a better job than I could about the details of the good and bad about the 80GB iPod, so I'll talk to the people like me: Mac owners with loads of pictures, a number of songs, and a few videos.
King of Portable Media Devices for a Reason
The latest flagship of the iPod lineup has only marginal differences between it's prior generation. Yet, the changes are exactly the little things that every wanted out of the prior models. iPod now has a much brighter screen with better resolution, it has the kind of space that allows you to tote quite a few movies, TV shows, and still have room for your whole music collection. The unspoken charm of this device is the simplicity of the interface and controls. The iPod is really a marvelous example of market research. How do consumers use their device, what is the average assumption of intuitive? The iPod hits that nail on the head.
Not a simple to use device -- maddening problems
If you plan to buy this item, be aware that you need to buy a docking station with it, and an FM transmitter for your car (if you want hands free operation.
