1-0 out of 5 stars Use and Discard - Disposable product!
Initial impression was good product. Now I wish there were an option to give 0 stars. It died just after before end of 90 days of warranty after normal usage (lasted for around 10 movie views). Shows "No Disk" error. Customer service says that after 90 days it is all your problem and recommend to buy a new one! Sorry no more Coby products. Buy a product with 1 year warranty from a better brand.

1-0 out of 5 stars Returned Two
I had to return two faulty DVD players. One would freeze frame the picture and the audio would keep on playing. The replacement DVD player kept saying "Wrong Disc" and was very very loud when it would actually play a disc.I ended up having to search and find a different DVD player all together because they wouldn't replace the 2nd faulty product.(Which was packaged inappropriately and possibly damaged in shipment).

2-0 out of 5 stars Good While it Lasted
This player worked pretty well for 8 months and I used it a lot.I was a little annoyed by the humm it made while playing a movie. My husband says I am too sensitive to noise and calls me "bat ears" though so maybe it wouldn't bother most people. The real problem is the one mentioned by others:it konked out after 8 months and started giving me the "no disk" and "wrong disk" messages. We bought the extended warranty and NEW sent us a check for $119 without any hassle. But now I have to buy a new one and have been without it for 3 weeks already. Why can't someone make one of these things that will last? ... 1-0 out of 5 stars DOA G-Wireless
Used this card to replace a Linksys WUSB54G Wireless-G USB Adapter that had start to act up on me. I was going to install a 5 port USB PCI hub so I figured, "Why not ditch the corded adapter while I'm cracking the case?".
4-0 out of 5 stars Excellent with XP
This item works excellent with XP, you get an excellent signal with excellent software. The ugly antenna the person before is talking about is a 5 db antenna, while other manufactors only give you a cheap 2 db antenna. That is why the reception on this item is so good. Also who cares about the antenna, when it is behind the computer and you cant see it, but you can see the excellent reception. You are not buying it for looks, but for the performance. The software does not work with 98, even though the ratings says it does.

5-0 out of 5 stars Easy, quick and powerful
This is one very powerful and easy piece of equipment that you should be able to have up and running in under 10 minutes. I installed it on a relatively new (6 months old) Dell XP desktop. Like they say in the instructions, load the CD BEFORE you try to install the card. Follow the instuctions on the screen and you should be all set. I have an ATT 2WIRE wireless DSL router with an Apple Airport attached for increased range. This card detected both of the wireless routers and asked which one I would like to link up to. Since I was closer to the Airport I chose that one, clicked on it, and I was up and running in seconds. I don't really download a lot of big video files, but what I do download seems to open as quick, if not quicker, than when I was hardwired to the router. Web pages open as quickly also.Sure I installed it on a desktop that isn't going anywhere, but hey - one less wire under my feet.... Now if I could just get my stupid Dell to find and share my printer with my Mac...but that's another story. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Sweet LITTLE Camera
I bought this camera primarily for its ability to take raw images and for its sort-of-manual exposure settings. I'm into taking HDR images (google HDR) and they require several images over a wide exposure (6 - 8+ EV). This camera works fine in both areas, plus it takes w i d e 28mm photos in w i d e aspect ratio so it is what I was looking for. HDR images sum the noise from several photos so they are by nature noisy. I use NEAT IMAGE to clean them up. This is a very nice $500-ish camera. There are better point-and-shoot cameras at that price point but I could find none other that met my own needs.
5-0 out of 5 stars MY FIRST DIGITAL CAMERA!!!!
THIS CAM IS AMAZING!!!!All I can say is Leica Lens ... I had taken the specs to a local camera shop and tried to see what they had to compare ... all he showed me was Leica's at around 8 Megapixel (and they can't even do the high def video!)... so I was like - well guess I am getting this Panasonic then!
3-0 out of 5 stars Still Needs Work
Reading the reviews of the LX1, I desperately hoped that this one would fix the noise issue. Well, when I got it, it was already past sunset, so it was a great time to test it. I took a few pictures of my computer screen inside a dark room. I took them auto mode using 10, 8, 5, and 2 MP to see how big the file sizes were using standard JPEG compression, and then at 10 MP again using maximum compression.

Editorial Review

With a complete set of high performance features and expandable functionality, the Uniden TRU9485 offers a full set of convenient options for busy homes. This set includes three handsets; the system is expandable to a total of ten but only requires a single phone jack. Call Waiting Caller ID includes a 100-station memory (with subscription to local service) that allows names and numbers to be transferred between handsets or moved into the permanent speed dial. DirectLink two-way radio communication is built into each handset, allowing them to function as an in-home intercom system or baby monitor. Redial any of the last three dialed numbers at the touch of a button, activate three-way calls or just enjoy the consistent, clear 5.8 GHz digital signal transmission. You can transfer incoming calls between the handset and base, and make use of the convenient hands-free design by using the included belt clip and built-in headset jack (headsets available separately). Easily adjust handset and ringer volume levels to your comfort, and set the handset LCD menu to one of three menu languages (English, French, or Spanish). A page button lets you quickly locate a handset if it's strayed under the couch cushions. A digital answering system with 15 minutes of message time is built into the base; call screening and recording are available from the handset as well. The base is wall mountable or sits sturdily on a countertop, giving you plenty of display options, and a total of 20 different ring tones (10 tones, 10 melodies) give you a variety of choices. Uniden provides a one-year warranty covering parts and service.Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Superb, extensible 5.8 GHz cordless phone system
The introduction of 2.4GHz-based 802.11b/g wireless computer networks will spell the end of many 2.4GHz-based cordless phone systems. Though one can continue to use the phones, the interference they cause with wireless computer networks is a nagging problem. The solution is to either upgrade your cordless phones or your wireless computer network to 5.8GHz. For most, upgrading the phone will be simpler and cheaper than upgrading the network.

5-0 out of 5 stars A great device, for sure!
I am a new geocacher and this device is perfect.Even children can easily understand and operate this device. It is accurate to 10-15 feet of the cache in the city.It is dead on when there is little or no interference (West Virginia).I've even dropped it a couple of times and it still works like a charm. It is highly recommended in the forums of geocaching sites as well!A great device for the price.

5-0 out of 5 stars I love this thing!
I just got mine and I'm extremely impressed with it. It's very easy to use (hint - download the instructions from Garmin's website and read them while you're waiting for delivery - this one is newer and does more than those instructions say, but it works the same way and you will know how to use it before it gets there). It's accuracy is more than what I expected. I can mark a waypoint and it will guide me to within 10 feet of it, sometimes within 3 feet. This is far more than what I need but nice to have that level of accuracy (in WAAS mode). It doesn't have the features of more expensive units but it has everything I need, and everything you would need to get you unlost in the woods. It doesn't do maps but I didn't want that anyway. You can't beat this unit for the price.

5-0 out of 5 stars A Great Cordless Phone System
This is the best phone I have ever had!The best part of this 5.4 GHz phone, other than the quality of voice without interruption through 2.4 GHz LAN network or microwave, is that it can mute ringer sound but you know you are recieving call by flushing light from the antenna. This is great if you have babies(no more awake by annoying ringer sound while they are taking a nap). All the necessary functions are included (answering machine, caller ID, storing telephone numbers, and etc.I highly recommend this phone.

5-0 out of 5 stars Review of Cordless Phones with Answering Systems

5-0 out of 5 stars great phone
I bought this to replace a horrible GE cordless phone system. Crystal clear reception, the people I talk to have no problems hearing me either. The only have two complaints I have is that the voice mail memory doesn't store enough digits to put my password in. However, the normal memory entried for my call directory does have enough. Strange, but no biggie. I love the ability to copy the memory over to the expansion sets I bought. However, the special rings for memory entries do not copy. Again, no big deal it would just be nice. Completely happy with this phone and I highly recommend it to others.

5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent phone
Best phone I've ever had. Good clear signal everywhere in the house. Lots of nice features. Up to 100 memory locations for storing frequently called numbers (I only need 20). Programmable ringtones so you know who is calling as soon as you hear the ring.

1-0 out of 5 stars BUZZ makes 2-line feature completely unusable
This phone has some really fantastic features. As a 1 line phone I highly recommend it. If you add the 2nd line, you CANNOT use both lines. As soon as the 2nd call comes in, the 1st call line is filled with loud buzz and the caller is inaudible.

I was very reluctant to try a ball instead of a mouse, but my IH ergonomist said she would stop nagging me if I tried this for a week and if I did not like it she'd switch me back. After two days I told her she was not getting the Trackman Wheel back. That was five years ago and since then I have insisted on these on my computers at work and bought them for my computers at home, all told I've acquired about six of these little guys. I love them.

5-0 out of 5 stars Straight out the box...I LOVE IT!!!
Prior to ordering these headphones, I really didn't know too much about Sennheiser.I read some of the reviews on here and decided that I couldn't go wrong for my 20 bucks and I am NOT disappointed one bit!!
4-0 out of 5 stars Quality Sound and Comfort for a Bargain
First off, these headphones are dirt cheap ($17...you can't even get crappy iPod earbuds for that price), and the sound is pretty darn good. They sounded nice right out of the box on my iPod mini, and after messing with the equalizer a bit, I've got these things sounding great. They are also really comfortable. I've been wearing them all day at work and I haven't had any discomfort at all.
4-0 out of 5 stars Balanced sound compared to HD202.
I had used HD202 also from Sennheiser for more than 2 years before I bought this one. From the model numbers you probably guess that they are similar. Well they are both CLOSED type headphones with about the same size, but the sound is very different. HD202 is most valued for its GREAT bass, and yet HD201 has a more balanced sound.

The instructions are very complete and understandable. The ringer is distinctive and quite loud. Sound quality is quite good. The only drawback is the delay between pressing a number key and the tone associated with it. Overall, we are very pleased with the phone system.

5-0 out of 5 stars Looks good, and sounds good.
Exactly what I wanted, a land line phone in case of power outages, with a cordless extension. The sound quality is good on both phones, the speaker phone is excellent. Best of all is the ease of use of the of the called ID, the answering system and the many other features. ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars TERRIBLE RELIABILITY
Even though I have used my printer (a Pixma 5000) very lightly, it jams regularly on Canon photo paper and then spills ink everywhere. Today it went into "service error 5700" and it doesn't work any more, even after rebooting it five times.

4-0 out of 5 stars Great TV for the price!
With so many tv's out there I think you have to start at your budget.Mine was $1200-$1400. How much can you spend? I guess the more you spend the better the tv, right?I read up on DLP, LCD and Plasma. All had strengths and weaknesses. So decide on what you want. DLP - the bulb may burn out after 2-3 years and cost $250 but you can replace it yourself. LCD - be careful with the screen and watch out for dead pixels.Plasma - burn spots if you play PS2 games. Now that you have the budget and type of tv sorted, which brand?Samsung, from my research, came out top. All the reviews showed they produce the most reliable and have the better picture quality. Now the size. The biggest you can for the budget you have and the type (DLP/LCD/Plasma). I picked the Samsung 46 inch DLP.I play PS2 games, so did not want to suffer burn spots. This was the largest for my budget of $1200. I ordered from Amazon and delivery was in 8 days (free shipping!). I had found cheaper places but they added shipping taking it over Amazons price.

5-0 out of 5 stars Awesome TV
We just received our Samsung TV - what a great picture - we're very pleased.Weren't sure what we should expect from an online purchase of this size but it came on time, delivered quality expected. We bought it bundled with the stand that works perfectly and was very easy to setup - everything matches beautifully. Thanks Amazon! Also, the delivery company - Eagle - were on time, helpful, careful and took the time to unpack and setup my TV and answer questions - very very happy with the whole experience! ... Read more

Editorial Review

The Linksys EtherFast cable/DSL router connects multiple PCs to a high-speed broadband Internet connection or to an Ethernet backbone. Configurable as a DHCP server, the EtherFast router acts as the only externally recognized Internet device on your local area network (LAN). The router can also be configured to block internal users' access to the Internet. A typical router relies on a hub or a switch to share its Internet connection, but the Linksys EtherFast router channels this connection through the full-duplex speed of its built-in EtherFast 10/100 four-port switch. This combination of router and switch technology eliminates the need to buy an additional hub or switch and serves your network as a completely dedicated, full-duplex backbone. Now your entire network can enjoy broadband Internet connections supported by its switched backbone. This unit requires an external cable or DSL modem with an Ethernet RJ-45 interface. This product comes with a one-year warranty.Read more

  • Connects four PCs to the Internet using a single IP address
  • Built-in 4-Port 10/100 switch for sharing broadband

1-0 out of 5 stars Not worth the hassle
Please search for the thread on the linksys support forum titled "BEFSR41 v4 intermittent drop of connection" which goes on for 4 pages with no reply from linksys support, I'd post a URL but that is against the review guidelines here at amazon.
1-0 out of 5 stars Be leary of the befsr41
I have had several of these routers over the years.. I currently have the v2 but the problem I am having is not version specific.I get disconnected from IRC and any messenger I am using about ever 5 -10 minutes at best.I have changed the firmware numerous times... I have reset the router I have actually changed the router out to no avail. This equipment is faulty and Linksys refuses to acknowledge the problem. If you type in Befsr41+disconnects you will see this is a problem with the entire product line... and most of us can not resolve this without removing this piece of equipment from the equation.

5-0 out of 5 stars Easy to set up Router
LinkSys has put out a wired router that can be set up in minutes and without a glitch. The easiest way to configure it is to go directly to their website and they will automatically configure it.I had this up and running in a few minutes; they also provide support without waiting on the phone for an extended time.I have had other routers that had numerous glitches/problems and poor support...not LinkSys: they put out quality and user-friendly products! ... 3-0 out of 5 stars Great--but watch ink prices!!!
This product is the best multifunction inkjet printer on the market, bar none.It is a great update to Canon's MP780, in that print and scan speeds have increased, and the scanner scans both sides of a document at once, which is super.Based on its features and performance, it is a 5 out of 5 stars product.Nothing else comes close.
4-0 out of 5 stars Very Good MultiFunction Printer - Recomended
A short review here. I've had this printer for about 8 months now and have been very impressed. All aspects of the printer work quite well and photos also come out good looking even though that's not this printer's main purpose. Installation went well and I have had no reliability issues with it over the last 8 months. That time includes several semesters with a lot of printing done for grad school.

4-0 out of 5 stars Used for the Price of New!
I just received this TV yesterday evening.Upon opening it, I couldn't help to notice that I had received a "used" item vs. the new one I ordered.Needless to say, it will be going back.Amazon has informed me that they will be sending me a replacement, so until then, I'll keep my fingers tightly crossed!
5-0 out of 5 stars Great TV Very Good Price
I've had this TV for three weeks or so.The screen is beautiful and the contrast is super sharp.Standard def broadcasts look good but HD is absolutely gorgeous.I've watched more movies in the past three weeks than I have in the previous year.No kidding! It is really cool to watch a movie in the original aspect ratio.I love to watch the Kung Fu Channel on Dish Network.Bruce Lee like I've never seen him!
2-0 out of 5 stars I got a dud
Received this TV from amazon last night and within 30 min of turning it on, the sound went out.I've had more time to mess with all the settings today and everything is set properly. It doesn't seem to matter what I have hooked up to it as far as A/V equip goes either.Right now it's a basic coax cable, but no matter what channel, when it messes up, the whole TV is going haywire. After turning it off and then back on it fixes the problem, but only for a minute or so.After multiple experiments, it stays on for about 30 min after sitting turned off for an extended period of time, then after turning it off and on, it will only work for about one minute after....I did that about seven times and every time the sound messed up.About half the time the video was also scrambled and then went out....simply disappointed and frustrated as now I have to deal with Samsung customer service....awesome. ... Editorial Review

The advanced PIXMA MP800 Photo All-In-One delivers spectacular Print Copy-Scan performance. It produces an amazing resolution of up to 9,600 x 2,400 color dpi, for remarkable detail and clarity. To achieve this, Canon Full-photolithography Inkjet Nozzle Engineering (FINE) uses a next-generation 3,584-nozzle print head that ejects precise, consistent droplets as small as one picoliter. The result? Smoother, virtually grain-free images. Also, our ContrastPLUS five-color ink system--four dye-based inks and a pigment-based black ink--produces true-life photos with a wide color palette, along with laser-quality text. What about speed? A 4"x 6" photo lab quality borderless photo takes approximately 36 seconds. Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Excellent Printer; VERY ANNOYING Messages re: Ink Cartridges
I have no complaints about the output I receive from this new all-purpose Canon Printer. What I find VERY ANNOYING, however, are the frequent error messages about the various ink cartridges, all of which are Canon brand.Without warning, I will receive error messages, for example, that the printer detects more than one "magenta" cartridge, when, in fact, there is only one magenta cartridge.I then remove the "blinking" magenta cartidge and place it back in the appropriate magenta printer cartridge slot.Sometimes, the same error message immediately reappears.Other times, I immediately receive another error message about another cartridge being, either missing or present more than once.Sometimes, the printer works fine.If I receive an error message, I immediately remedy the problem and then hope for the best. This is increasingly annoying and definitely detracts from my overall satisfaction with the printer.I contacted Canon phone support about this and their response is to send me replacement "magenta" and "black -No. 5" cartridges. While I appreciate receiving the new cartridges, this will not remedy the underlying problem. If others have had this problem, please write a review, especially if there is a solution!

5-0 out of 5 stars Best bluetooth headset ever
This headset is inexpensive, but the sound quality is great. It paired with my Samsung D807 in a couple of seconds. The ear piece goes in the ear, so outside noises are less distracting. With my old Motorola headsets, people complained that they couldn't hear me.That hasn't been an issue with the 320.

2-0 out of 5 stars Too Much Freakin Static
I returned the Motorola device because it practically fell off of my ear.The Plantronics 320 stays put very well, but there is entirely too much static for me to forgo the $60 price tag.Set-up and pairing with the Treo 650 was very easy, but there's just way too much static. It seems that it doesn't matter if I put my Treo on the same side as the earpiece or have it in my hand held up to my ear, there's still static.

1-0 out of 5 stars Unpleasant First Timer
