From title recognition
There are several good tracks in the few available for listening to, and i recongnise a number that are not as good salsa. Also, Cuerno Na'ma is a totally wild Salsa, though the one on this CD isn't the ful llenght track, which has about 30" more drum intro . . .

sigh....
I don't think I could even like one song on this album. Moving on...

Great compilation cd.... danceable & entertaining
I must give credit where credit is due. J & N records are the masters of compilation music in the three most common tropical music categories: salsa, merengue and bachata. I own many compilation cds from this record label and they consistently produce compilation cds that display the best of the best in the category of music being offered. Salsa Hits 2002 is no exception. I bought the cd last week with hopes of enjoying at least half the songs however, it turned out to be complete enjoyment. I listened to the cd in completion without interruption because every song enhanced the cd in some way and was quite danceable. There is a variety of salsas offered in this one. Some are romantic salsas such as: "Quiero" by Jerry Rivera and Rey Ruiz's "No". Others are more commercial and danceable like "Comerte a besos" by Frankie Negron and "Amor asi" by Tito Nieves. There's a classic old style salsa which is totally a treat and a well known song "Cuero Na'ma" and one more in the category of a ballad is "Yo si me enamore" by Huey Dunbar. You can't go wrong with this cd. It will meet the needs of the most diverse salsa tastes. Be it fast, romantic, traditional or classic whatever you prefer there's a song or there are songs for you in this wonderful compilation cd. High recommendation given. Yes, it's another group of five young white boys making dance-influenced pop that makes the girls scream. Not only is the composition of this group familiar, their sound is almost a clone offellow teenybopper dreams the Backstreet Boys. It's probably notsurprising, considering that they share the same manager (who had allfive members of '80s preteen scream machine New Kids on the Block asthe best men at his wedding, natch). The resemblance is a little tooclose for comfort, however, with almost every track here mirroring oneon the Backstreet Boysalbum. From the radio hit "I Want You Back" and the sugary harmonizingon ballads like "God Must Have Spent a Little More Time on You" to theone-step-forward, two-steps-back approach to sex appeal on "Giddy Up,"'N Sync (or their producers) have crafted the perfect balance of catchypop ditties and swoon-inducing slow jams. --Rebecca Wallwork ... BsB watch out!
When the creator of the Backstreet Boys wanted to satrt a new boyband the american record companies dit not want to have a BSB clone they said it wouldnt sell,so remebering that The Beatles once startdet there career in Germany he went overthere and got them a record deal and the guys choce there own name 'NSYNC, the flew allover Europe to record there self titeld debutfrom Sweden to Holland and Germany,the album became instand succses for the Guys and when BMG US heard of the stardom in Europe(most of all Germany and Holland) they desided to release it also in The US with some songs droped from it and a couple of new ones includin "I drive myself Crazy" no one thought they would ever beat the already popular Backstreet Boys but as it turne out the became even bigger,when after a dificulty in 1999 'NSYNC signd a new record deal with JIVE RECORD wich also has BSB under contract they were not happy that there rivals would now be under the same roof and since then every album release from both bands becomes a competion with NSyns always a few steps foreward. But BSB stil remains the best selling boyband worldwide ever! but now Justin is going solo it looks like Michael Jackson has competition because not only girls like his music but guys start to apreciate Timberlake also.

I just want to say that I love this cd. even though it contains more of the older stuff that they have done, it still sounds cool. Plus, it has some new tracks that i found the words to, but never knew they existed. so that's cool too.

The Olympus Stylus 300 is perhaps the best go-anywhere point-and-shoot digital camera, thanks to its all-metal, weatherproof exterior. Easy on the eyes and comfortable in the hand, the Stylus 300 can also withstand water splashes, driving rain, and windy snowstorms. And though it's not waterproof, you can add the optional PT-016 underwater case for diving photos down to 130 feet underwater.

Weatherproof design and an all-metal exterior allow you to use the Stylus 300 in conditions from driving rain to windy snowstorms.

While not as "Elph-in" as some other compact digital cameras, the Stylus 300 is easily pocketable for on-the-go photo fun, from sightseeing to impromptu get-togethers. It’s also very quick to respond on start-up. Just slide open the clam-shell cover, and the Stylus 300 is ready to snap pics in about 3 seconds.

The Stylus 300 is made for automatic point-and-shoot possibilities, and the camera offers some basic scene modes (landscape, night, portrait, and self-portrait) and white balance settings (daylight, overcast, tungsten, and fluorescent). The menu system accessed through the 1.5-inch LCD continues the Olympus tradition of a well-mapped-out software system.

The Stylus 300 is just the right size--compact enough to carry anywhere, but not so small that it's hard to operate.

We were quite happy with the exterior, providing a lot of area from the right side of the camera to the lens, which helped to eliminate fingers getting in the way of the lens. Additionally, the shutter button at the top of the camera was nicely sizeable for our chunky fingers. We were a bit disappointed, though, with the size and slipperiness of the function buttons on the back of the Stylus--the all-metal exterior was just too smooth and the buttons weren't rubbery enough.

With the 3.2-megapixel resolution, you’ll be able to capture enough image detail to print decent 11 by 14 print enlargements. But the best thing about more pixels is the amount of stored pixel information, which enabled us to crop images on our PC without losing much clarity or sharpness. At the highest quality setting, you’ll get 2,048 x 1,536 pixel images, but you can also step down to lower pixel ranges--from 1,600 x 1,200 to 640 x 480.

You can also record small QuickTime videos, though we found the movie mode to be fairly basic compared to some of the other new releases of 2003. Since there’s no built-in microphone, your movies will be silent, and you can’t utilize the zoom while filming. Choose between 320 x 240 for 16 seconds and 160 x 120 for 40 seconds.

If you’re looking for pure point-and-shoot pleasure, the Stylus 300 is the camera for you. It’s nicely automated and ready to snap pics in a flash. We were also quite happy with the battery life, though you might want to invest in an additional battery (model LI-12B) as well as a higher-capacity XD card for safety's sake. --Agen G.N. Schmitz

  Good things come in small packages
  I am a freelance writer and when I can't get a photographer to come with me on jobs, I have to take photos myself. This is where my Stylus 300 comes into play. The editor of one of the magazines I work for was very impressed by the quality of this camera. Some of the photos I have taken with it have been published in various publications. <br /> <br /> The only con I have is that the quality of photographs taken indoors with poor lighting are not very good. <br /> <br /> In addition, this camera is perfect for me due to the style and size. I don't have to lug around a huge camera bag with it, I can just put it into my jacket pocket. This came in handy during a recent ski trip. I would and have recommended this model to friends and family.

  Poor design and performance
  The camera takes reasonably good pictures when it works, however the basic design and construction make it unreliable. Olympus markets the Stylus as a tough camera suitable for outdoors however the operating design is poor. Notably the battery compartment is where your thumb holds the camera, frequently opening the battery door and interrupting operation of the camera.The power ON/OFF switch is under the sliding cover. It is very sensitive and failed within 9 month. Olympus did a poor job with this design.

  Great Camera for a beginner
  As the first time digital camera buyer, I loved the price and size. Photos are as good as it ought to be (IMHO, this is a given - Olympus is a name to reckon with in the world of imaging). Photos taken by Canon and Olympus looked the same.
  
  Pros - It is sexy and beautiful (the metal case is really cool), very attractive size (fits in my shirt pocket), great battery life (have charged only once so far - I have clicked over 50-60 photos so far), rugged (I do not carry it in a camera pouch), easy interface (very intuitive - on the contrary, found Canon to be a bit complicated), media is xD Card (great size compared to the bulky CompactFlash); xD Card is also is superfast.
  
  Cons - The only one I can think of - xD Card is expensive - I had to pay about $40 for an Olympus 256 MB xD Card on eBay.

Good, can be better for the price
It is good considering the price I paid for it. It can play WMAs as well. Thats the best part of the player. Chaning tracks and albums are easy. Headset is good.

The worst thing about the player is the battery consumption. Citizen CD190 uses two AA fully charged batteries for almost whole day, but this one uses it in just about 4 hours. The other thing is it has no ID3 support, so its kind of difficult to find out which track you are listening to.

Anyway, its good for its price tag.

not at all worth the price
I bought this in November of last year. It worked perfectly at first, but three months after, it started skipping. I dropped it at one point, and the lid popped open and the cd went flying. I use the player on my commute on the bus to and from work, which lasts about an hour, and it ate its way through a set of AA's within two days. It also skips something terrible if held vertically, or bumped hard enough.


I had another Panasonic with a 40-second skip protection, and that lasted me four years before it finally gave out. Too bad they don't make the model anymore, or I would have purchased another instead of this terrible player.

Great all around CD player
Panasonic really knew what they were doing when they came up with this little gadget. I have had alomst no problems whatsoever with this item. It has a few minor drawbacks but what product doesn't.

Pros: Anti-skip works perfeclty, plays MP3's well when put on disk in as a music file, romote control saves buttons on player itself and it has many features to enhance your listening experience.

Cons: Goes through batteries fairy quickly, especially on MP3 mode and the speakers are not super well equiped for loud listening.

Overall, this MP3/CD player is a great value and probably works as well or better than others that you would be likely to pay twice as much for. ... Read more
