5-0 out of 5 stars Live and Learn
This is a great product. The Kolcraft version of this is also great and you should buy whichever one strikes your fancy (or is cheaper). This is SUPER convenient for anyone who is toting an infant around. Here's why: 1) Its very lightweight 2)It can be folded with one hand 3)The basket is big and roomy 4)the parent tray is great for keys, a drink, etc 5)Easy to steer 6)Your baby can be moved in and out and around without waking up.
When your little one outgrows his car seat, you'll have to put this in storage and then buy a lightweight stroller, but its STILL better than the travel system idea, which, when you are done with the infant seat, you are stuck with a very heavy stroller. .....

4-0 out of 5 stars Would recommend to new moms!
DO NOT BUY A TRAVEL SYSTEM! My sister bought a travel system and used her stroller twice when her son was an infant. She was always lugging him around in his infant carrier because it was "easier" than using the travel system.

With the Snap-N-Go (this one or the Kolcraft), this is not a problem. The stroller is light, quick, and manuvers better than a shopping cart. I always put my daughter in it when I go shopping, and I make my husband push the cart next to us.

The basket could be more accessible. It's fine if you carry your diaper bag, but it's hard to fit much else in there if you don't want to, and you certainly can't take the entire diaper bag out without removing the car seat (although you can reach it to grab an item from inside). I also would like them to upgrade the wheels. They get gravel from parking lots stuck in them easily.

5-0 out of 5 stars Can't believe how cheap it is in the States
I bought this item in Canada and now that I see how cheap it is in the States, I so wish I had found it before my travels. I payed over $100 in Canada for it which roughy translates to about $75 American these days. I bought it because I needed something light for the car seat between flights. Now I keep it in the car and use it for every shopping trip. I love how small it is and maneuvarable, and how light it is. I also can position my evenflow car seat a little more horizontally when she sleeps by putting it between the bars instead of on it. The only problem I have with it is the almost completely useless basket. The opening doesn't help at all, its almost impossible to put anything in there except for very narrow or small items. Certainly not a diaper bag. I have a big stroller which I keep in the garage and use it for walks around the neighbourhood. So the frame, for the price, is really worth getting, if you have a heavy stroller. ... Read more

    Editorial Review

A good infant car seat should offer four key features: safe design, comfort for the occupant, convenience for the parents, and a stylish appearance. The Chesapeake model from Peg Pérego comes through on all counts. It features a five-point harness system to keep young ones firmly in place, ample padding all around, and an additional halo pad to cradle baby's head (perfect for dozing off on long car trips). The seat is equipped with LATCH, a car seat system mandated by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration that requires points of anchorage on the top and bottom of the car seat base. Despite its firm anchoring, this car seat also detaches easily for toting. It's upholstered in dark blue with a white and blue plaid pattern, and also sports a retractable canopy. --Charlie Williams ... Read more

2-0 out of 5 stars Too Hot!
Wish I read the reviews first - but bought the seat due to the Consumer Reports article. But then again this was one of the two seats that fit my car well - BMW 525 Wagon.
The fabric makes my daughter too hot- after 30-40 minutes or so she starts wailing - when we take her out it feels as if she has a fever!
I also think the protective hood does not go nearly far enough overhead so we always have to put a receiving blanket on it to increase shading.
Also the plastic clip that joins the two shoulder straps is lame and difficult to put on when baby is active.
We had to take the velcro attached pads off the should strap because they also made her very hot since they bunch up around her neck.
She is starting to get bigger at 9 weeks and looks like she fits perfectly - which means in two months the seat will be way too small.
Oh well, on to the convertible seat. Such a disappointment for a high priced/safe product.
The positives are it fits well and is easy to latch in. I also like the variable adjustment knob- I saw that most other seats have discrete heights to which you can level the seat.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Infant Car Seat!
We loved our Peg Perego infant car seat. With the headrest insert is was great for our 5 pound preemie and it grew with him. He is now 5 months old and is still able to use the seat. What we like best is that it snaps in and out of the car easily so that we don't have to wake up the baby to get him out of the car. It also easily attached to the stroller by Peg Perego and unlike other travel systems this car seat does not attach to the tray of the stroller which is plastic, but to two latch style hooks in the seat of the stroller that are easily folded down for using the stroller after your child has grown out of the infant seat. We also picked this car seat because it was ranked very high for safety by Consumer Reports.
Do keep in mind that an infant car seat is only for short time use. Once your baby reaches 20 pounds or 26 inches you need to get a new car seat.

This is by far the best carseat on the market. I received the Graco Quattro Tour system which includes the Snugride Carseat and the Peg Perego P3 Stroller with Primo Viaggio Seat as shower gifts. My husband and I decided to use both on our baby and then give the other system to friends who are expecting. We found Peg Perego is the best product by far. The Infant seat is much more stylish and comfortable for baby. Our son has no trouble being placed in the seat and the material is soft and beautiful. I don't understand the other comments that say their baby sweats a lot when placed in this seat...does the baby have 4 layers of blankets on or something? The seat Canopy is better than the Snugride and so is the way the seat clicks into the base. We found it to be much sturdier. We also found that the Peg seat is better as a travel system with the matching stroller. The seat attaches to the Pliko Stroller with metal anchors as apposed to sitting on the top of the Graco stroller. Yes, you do snap little plastic pieces over the seat in the Graco, but the metal anchors and the position of the infant seat in the Peg stroller is by far superior. The only thing I liked better on the Graco Snugride is the feel of the handle, it grips a little better than the Peg. Even though it's a little more expensive, the Peg Perego products are better...and once you are finished using them, sell it on Ebay! The used infant seats and especially the strollers go for a lot of money, far more than Graco products. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Great Stroller w/ just a few adjustments needed
As a first time mom I was conflicted about which stroller/car seat travel system to buy. I was attracted to this one because of the available colors. Not one to like the "baby" fabrics that are out there, I loved the silver/gray neutral color of the fabric. After using it for 4 months now I have a few suggestions for the manufacturer:

    1) Although the fabric is beautiful, it doesn't breathe which in a hot climate causes your poor baby to sweat profusely!!

    2) The fabric wears and develops abrasions on the edges too quickly for normal wear and tear.

    3) The car seat (Primo Viaggio) that is sold with it is so narrow that after my son was about 3 1/2 months old he didn't fit it in anymore.

    4) The handle bar needs a cup holder (shouldn't that be automatic at this point?) and is too low for normal heighth individuals (I'm 5'5" and my husband is 6'). The shortness causes your feet to "kick" the wheels when pushing the stroller at times. The handle bar should adjust up like my McLaren Techno XT does.

The steering is excellent and the stroller folds easily. All in all I think the stroller is good but could use some improvements to make it excellent!

4-0 out of 5 stars We are so pleased with this stroller!
My husband and I are so pleased with this stroller for several reasons. I'll just have to agree with the positive review of "rebelzeta from Tennessee."

Additional reasons we love this stroller:
    1. We just love the way it handles and folds with ease
    2. The cover is great to protect your baby from the sun, wind or rain with use of Perego car seat
    3. Reversible handle bar so your baby can see you and you can avoid the sun hitting your baby's eyes
    4. Reclines straight for baby to sleep on plus the BIG bonus is that you can use it as a diaper changer. As many parents know that it's hard to find changing tables in restaurants, malls, etc. that's clean or it's just not available. So reclining the seat back helped us on many occasions especially during a diaper emergency change. Even my sisters had to use ours when they needed to change their baby's diapers.
    5. It's a transformer kind of stroller that can be used in so many ways

It's worth the money and with the great Italian quality, you can use it for the next baby.

5-0 out of 5 stars Love it!!! Stylish, comfy, versitile
The storage basket is big enough for my Avent diaper bag. I bought a cheap cup holder that snaps on which is great if that's an issue for you. Both myself (5'3") and hubby (6'0") push without kicking bottom. Also, it pushes like a dream - so smooth and turns on a dime which is great in crowded stores! The boot came in very handy when we were vacationing in Maine. Started sprinkling and the boot material repelled the water nicely. I haven't had any trouble with fabric and we've taken ours on an airplane and it constantly slides around in my trunk. I like the carseat - esp. that it has hood too. With the Venezia you can completely cover baby with hood which is great. Child tray is not a big issue for me. If you want one, Peg Perego website sells them for twenty bucks. So stylish, I constantly get compliments on my stroller. I never thought anyone would comment on a baby carriage!!! The recline and fold are effortless. I am very critical, but I can't think of one thing I don't like about this stroller. ... Read more

Prima Pappa High Chair - Black Sable

5-0 out of 5 stars Own the 2000 model without the double tray.
But, it has every other feature mentioned here. My son has always been at around 70 - 75% for height, and this has always worked fantastically for us. I just stored it away now that he is 3 yrs old and more reliable at the table( doesn't need or like to be strapped in) and switched to the stokke since the horn on the seat makes it more difficult for him to climb on and off by himself. But the chair is in great shape after 2 1/2 years of daily use. Its really easy to clean and the tray goes in the dishwasher just fine. -- takes care of the gap between the top and bottom halves of the tray which is what the mom with the toothbrush must have been complaining about :-)
The recline made it comfortable from his first bits of solid food, and really, for an under 1 year old, unless you have a prodigy, you would be doing 90% of the feeding, and they would probably just be enjoying a mess on the tray. Its been the perfect height since he truly started feeding himself, still is, and the adjustable heights make it perfect to pull up to any table or counter without the tray. And it worked perfectly for a visiting 15 mo old last week.

4-0 out of 5 stars Wonderful with a few drawbacks
After serious research, we decided on this highchair because it had all the features we needed and wanted: wheels, collapsible, compact when folded, double tray, 5-point harness, washable cover, comfy seat, reclining positions, height-adjustable, good-looking, and great resale value. We just didn't find anything else that fit all our criteria. So for those reasons, we love this chair.

But there are some negatives. We had heard that the prima pappa was difficult to clean--and it's true. There are a lot of grooves and nooks and crannies that food can get crammed into. Some seem to exist for form rather than function, which is annoying, but other highchairs have their share of places for food to hide, too. My only other major complaint is that the straps are bolted to the chair, which makes removing them for a run through the washing machine quite an ordeal.

All in all, I would buy this chair again, despite the drawbacks. And I would definitely reccommend it to others if it suits their particular needs.

2-0 out of 5 stars Definitely not worth the money!!!
Purchased high chair about 1 year ago because of the reputation of Peg Perego brand, the added features and the suggestion of the store's assistant manager. With the exception of the difficulty in cleaning the chair, yes its a big pain but in the overall scheme of things nothing to worry about, I thought I purchased wisely. However, about 5 months ago I noticed that my baby boy (at the time 16 months) was able to wiggle his way out of the 5 point harness and stand up on the seat. I dont know if anyone else has experienced this problem but it's a little scary to see your baby balancing on the high chair hoping he's not going to fall over before reaching him. No matter how much I tighten the harness (without making it completely uncomfortable)he can still wiggle his way out of it. Not expecting this from a quality brand like Peg Perego and with a 5 point harness I am very dissapointed. My in-laws have a small booster seat for him at their house that attaches to a kitchen chair. It was much less expensive and only contains 1 strap around his waste. My now 21 month old has not been able to wiggle out of this booster seat. Anyway, my point is this; this should not happen with a 5 point harness, a reputable company like Peg Perego and the price that is charged for the product. ... Read more

    Editorial Review

A good portable crib is an item that belongs squarely on any parent’s "gotta have" list and this Graco model is one of the best. It’s patterned in nicely muted pale green and beige and features mesh walls along the side so parent and baby can see one another. This model includes other thoughtful features not found in all portable cribs: a detachable bassinet, a toy bar with soft teddy bear faces that attach to a hanging canopy, and battery-powered vibration and music options. But the true test of any portable crib is, of course, how portable it truly is. We’re happy to report that it was a breeze to take apart and put back together. While travel with very young children is always unpredictable, everyone is bound to rest easier if this crib is packed along. --John Moe ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars COULDN'T LIVE WITHOUT IT
AFTER LOOKING AT ALL THE PACK N PLAYS, I FOUND THIS TO BE THE BEST. IT WAS VERY EASY TO PUT TOGETHER. I HAVE A THREE MONTH OLD DAUGHTER, AND I KEEP IT IN OUR LIVING ROOM, I USE THE CHANGING STATION ALL THE TIME,BUT I FELT THAT THE PLASTIC WAS TOO COLD SO I PURCHASED ONE OF THOSE LAP PADS AND CUT IT TO FIT IT EXACTLY, NOW HER LITTLE BOTTOM ISIN'T ON THE VINLY, SHE'S TOO PRISSY :) TO HAVE HER BOTTOM COLD (HEHE) ACTUALLY WE NEVER HAD TO BUY A SEPARATE CHANGING TABLE, WHY HAVE TWO ?? PLUS THE FEATURES OF THE MUSIC,NIGHT LITE, AND THE VIBRATOR MAKE THIS A PLUS FOR MY LITTLE SOPHIA, SHE LOVES TO JUST LAY ON THE CHANGING PAD AND STARE AROUND WHILE LISTENING TO THE MUSIC. I LOVE THE FACT OF THE ROOMY BASSINET, FOR WHEN SHE IS TOO YOUNG FOR THE FULL VERSION, ESPECIALLY AFTER A C-SECTION. GO FOR THE EXTRA MONEY ON THIS, YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED TRUST ME. I EVEN PURCHASED ONE OF THOSE DIAPER CADDY'S (HOLDS DIAPERS AND WIPES,ECT.) FOR A WOODEN CHANGING TABLE AND IT HOOKED ON THE SIDE OF IT. NOW THAT IS THE BEST TO HAVE EVERYTHING AT YOUR FINGER TIPS.

4-0 out of 5 stars Almost Perfect - Comparison Review to Century Fold N Go
My wife and I received two travel play yards as shower gifts this one and the top line model from Graco's competitor Century. We use one upstairs and the other down. Both are very nice but this one is a little better. This folds up easily and the changing table and basinet are nice. We have not found the hood with the hanging toys to be very useful we mostly leave it off. We bought a Diaper Depot to hang off the side which holds little things like bottles and diapers and cream and oils. The Century Fold N Go has similar pockets built in. The changing table on the Pack N Play is a little sturdier than the Century. If you travel a lot the Century is slightly easier to pack up. The Century has separate compartments in it's travel bag for the main part and the accessories. Where the Graco you have to stuff everything in one large pocket. The electronics are the thing that really tips the scales to the Graco this one has a night light and vibrating feature and it plays music as well. If your baby has not arrived yet take my advice and buy anything that has a vibrator built in. Babies love it! The only thing that keeps me from giving the Pack N Play 5 stars is for some reason they put a timer on all of the electronic features. The maximum amount of time any of the items will run is 15 minutes. So just when baby is falling asleep the vibrator and music stops and they wake up again. By the way, I hate the color but from reading other reviews I guess I am in the minority on that. And both the Gaco and Century are the same awful color.

1-0 out of 5 stars Great, unless you have to clean it.
This playpen looks great, but it soaks up moisture (e.g. urine, vomit) like a sponge. My son had a huge spit up in it one day and it immediately soaked right into the pad. I didn't even have time to grab a towel to try to mop some of it up. The core of the pad is made up of what seems to be absorbant particle board, so I have no idea how to sanitize this thing. What's worse is that the pad looked and felt like it would be waterproof when we examined it out in the store, but it isn't, and as far as I can tell, Graco does not make a waterproof sheet to protect the pad. If I knew I'd have to buy a replacement floor for this thing, I never would have bought it. ... Read more

Pump in style, indeed. This classy and discreet set is a great choice for back-at-work moms who don't want every Tom, Dick, and Harriet to know that they are pumping between meetings. With features such as a battery pack, adjustable suction pressure, and variable five-speed (from 42 to 62 cycles per minute) control that mimics your nursing baby, this hospital-grade setup is as efficient as can be: it can pump a full 6-ounce bottle in 5 to 10 minutes. Pump in Style also allows for dual pumping (pumping both breasts simultaneously), a great timesaver for working moms in particular. Its automatic suck-release-relax cycling mimics your baby's natural nursing pattern (with no manual adjustments required like some other models). The carrying bag itself is also quite nice, with insulated compartments and freezable cooling packs for keeping bottles of breast milk cool for approximately four hours. The Pump in Style set includes a black shoulder bag; manual pump conversion kits; a double-pump accessory kit; an AC adapter; four freezer-, microwave-, dishwasher-safe bottles with lids; two bottle stands; 20 milk storage bags; three cooling packs; breastfeeding information sheets; and a sample of PureLan breast cream. The pump can be used with an electrical outlet with an AC adapter or optional power pack, and its durable motor is made to work overtime--four to five times daily. The whole shebang weighs as much as a newborn (7 pounds), but the quality is definitely worth the extra weight. --Melissa Wilson ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Essential for keeping supply up
I've been using this pump now for three months, and it is WELL WORTH the money. Not only does it make pumping easier and faster-- it has been a lifesaver in keeping up my supply. When I was first looking at pumps that I could use at work, I didn't understand why people kept saying that "double" pumps were essential. I quickly found out that when I pump both sides at the same time-- my milk lets down much faster, and there's more of it. I work ten-hour days, my son is now 5-months-old, and thanks to this pump he's never had a drop of formula. Of course, you could always go with renting a hospital pump, but keep in mind that if you're planning on breastfeeding for five months or longer (or having a second child) owning this very discreet pump will be cheaper in the long run.

5-0 out of 5 stars This is the best pump for working mothers!
I first tried a pump from a friend who breastfed her son. It was one of the cheaper, non Medela brand pumps. I hated it. It hurt because I had to almost manually express to get a drop. I was so frustrated, I almost quite breastfeeding. Then my husband called a lactation specialist and told me about the Pump In Style. I didn't want to get it at first because I didn't even want to hear the word pump. But, I broke down and bought it for when I went back to work. The first time I used it, I thought this is great. Now I have a Deep freezer full of breast milk. I could probably sell it in stores! HA!HA! Even if you don't intend on breastfeeding for a long period of time, rent it for when your milk comes in. It is a life saver. No one told me about that sleepless night. My baby slept peacefully, while my husband and I worked that cheap pump only to get two onces, and I still had no relief.(I bought the Pump In Style after that night!)

5-0 out of 5 stars Love my Medela-great for working Moms!
I love this pump. I work 7 hour days 5 days a week and I have pumped for 11 months for my son. This pump let me pump 2 bottles in less than 15 mins. It is easy to use, a little bulky but hey what do you expect it's a breastpump. Great pump for working moms. I have used this pump 3x a day and then 2x a day for months, never once did I have a problem with it. Worth the money, I would buy another if I needed to. Never once did my supply suffer or I had to supplement it worked so well. You will not regret your purchase. <br /> ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Fabulous!!
I received a box of these pads as a shower gift and when I went to buy more, I was surprised to find out how much more expensive they were than the other brands! So I tried some less expensive pads (Avent, J & J, Gerber) and was very disappointed! They did not absorb as much as the Medela brand!! Plus, they weren't as thin. So now I'm going to stick with these pads - plus give them as shower gifts in the future - they're definitely worth every penny! A+!

4-0 out of 5 stars Love These Bra Pads!
As a first time breastfeeder I didn't realize how much I would leak. After trying reusable cotton pads and Johnson & Johnson pads, I was frustrated that I couldnt wear a shirt without looking like I had lumpy breasts due to the pads. These Medela breast pads are wonderful because I can wear a tighter fitting shirt without advertising I'm wearing the pads! Also, the other kinds didn't hold much milk and I would wake up at night having to change my shirt. The Medela pads are comfortable, discreet, and absorbant.

5-0 out of 5 stars Much better than the washable pads!
I am a first time mom, so I didn't know what to use. I spent $20 on the washable pads from Bravado. I leaked all the time through the pads, my bra and shirt! I thought this was just a side effect of nursing until I tried the disposables that came with the Medela pump we bought. What a difference! I haven't had an accident since. I haven't tried any of the other disposable brands, but can certainly say that these are wonderful! ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Best priced rocker...love the toile design
Before our baby was born, we decided to buy a bassinet that we can put our bedroom. We looked for awhile and finally found this one that rocks and even has rollers. We would put her in the bassinet and I would rock her to sleep. You can also lock it if you didn't want it to rock. Our daughter uses it often when we want her near us such as the kitchen or the living room. The rollers makes it easy to take her anywhere in the house It has a large compartment for diapers and blankets. My daughter used it for 2 months and as needed after that. My daughter is five months old now and I would use it as her playpen. It makes it easier for me to keep an eye on her and I can easily take her wherever I go.

Only problem is the mattress pad...very thin. So my husband and I would just put extra folded blankets and if she soiled it we just wash it. Overall, this is the best price bassinet we've seen. It is practical, simple and elegant. We love the toile design!!

5-0 out of 5 stars Very Useful & Pretty, Definitely Recommended
I love this bassinet. It is very sturdy, and costs less than a lot of the others. It is long and narrow and has wheels, which makes it great for moving from one side of the bed to the other and into other rooms. It rolls well on both the carpet and wood floors. I love the rocking motion, which I have used to get my son back to sleep many nights. Locking and unlocking the rocking motion is a little difficult to do in the dark until you get the hang of it. I don't mind that it doesn't have music because I can use a CD player or other toys for music. The blue and cream nursery rhyme toile is beautiful and works for a boy or girl, which is great because we didn't know what we were having when we registered for it. I washed the bedding on delicate cycle and hung to dry. It didn't shrink or wrinkle and is nice and soft. The pad is very thin so I purchased a 2" bassinet pad and I use it instead with a Gerber knit bassinet sheet. My son sleeps as well in this bassinet as he does in his crib. The sides don't have any padding, but this isn't a problem for me yet because my son hasn't started moving around much. However, I may try wrapping it in quilt batting next time I take the bedding off. The storage is just the right size for all the things needed for middle of the night changing and extra sheets. It was easy to put together, I did it mostly by myself when I was eight months pregnant. I would definitely recommend this bassinet.

5-0 out of 5 stars this bassinet is the best
while shopping for a bassinet, i bought this one because it was the largest one i could find. the others seemed too high like the baby might fall out. i also liked the storage underneath. well it turned out to be a great buy! my daughter used this bassinet until she was 4 months old and learned how to roll over. it is a great sturdy bassinet i recommend to all ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Avent is just the best!
These containers are tops! You can pump right into them, with the Avent Isis Pump, which is great, or with most other pumps (with the converter piece). Then just stick the container in the freezer. Exchange the sealing disc for a nipple and, presto, it's a bottle. Add a handle and a spout instead of the nipple - it's a sippy cup. And it is safe to use in the microwave. And it does not leak, even when it's not upright! And, thanks to the wide mouth, it's easy to clean. The small size makes it easy to store, minimizes waste (very important when using breastmilk) and - for those who care - these containers are actually aesthetically pleasing. I am very happy that I chose Avent bottles - they are well worth the extra money, as after six months of use they still look brand-new. And if you ever need it, Avent customer service is even better!

5-0 out of 5 stars freeze it
i found these containers great for storing brest milk in the freezer. they are small and dont take up to much space. the also fit perfect from freezer straight to the bottle warmer. i recommend this product for mothers who will be breast feeding and returning back to work.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Bottles!
These storage bottles are great because you can use them to store breast milk or formula. I like making a few bottles at night then later at night as I need them I warm a bottle take storage top off and add a nipple and I am ready to feed my daughter. This all-in-one crib sheet is designed for ease and convenience. Instead of using a separate sheet and mattress pad, now parents can use the "ultimate" crib sheet that combines absorbency, comfort, and wetness protection all in three layers--sheet on top, soft padding in the middle, and vinyl next to the mattress. A real time saver, this sheet is made for parents who have better things to do with their time than change sheets and mattress pads. --Jane Snyder ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars I love this sheet!
Buy 2 of these, so you can have a clean one ready while you do laundry.

Usually, I write Good Things and Bad Things, but I have no complaints - so this time, only Good Things!
    Good Things:
    1) Easy to get on and off.
    2) Soft cotton top over waterproof bottom.
    3) You can put your 'cute' sheets underneath, and really never have to change them, because they never get dirty. So you only need 1 set of pricey sheets if looks are your concern.
    4) What else do you need out of a crib sheet? :)

5-0 out of 5 stars This is a must have item!
I bought these sheets on the recommendation of a friend, and I now give them as gifts at all baby showers. I absolutely love this product. My daughter has had leaky diapers and spit ups, and I have only had to change this pad. She is two months old and I have not had to change her actual crib sheet once due to accidents.
I have two of these sheets and would recommend that anyone interested in them buy two as well. That way you have one to put on the bed, when the other is soiled and being washed. I have washed and dried mine many times in two months and I have yet to notice the plastic backing melting at all. (And my dryer gets very hot) The sheets did shrink a little after several launderings, but they still fit her crib just fine.

This is definitely one baby product you do not want to be without.

5-0 out of 5 stars Put It on the Top of Your Wish List
This is a MUST-have. Our twin boys are now almost two and we've been using this product since they started moving around and don't know what we would do without it. It's comfortable for them to lay on and saves you the trouble of having to change the crib sheet as often - which is no easy task!! With twins, you need at least four of these so you always have a clean set! ... Read more

This is my favorite middle-weight blanket. I love the soft yellow color. The threads are super soft and the knit pattern is really nice. The blanket washes well and keeps its color. (Even blood washed out without damaging the color.)

This is the blanket we use for naps, in the stroller, in the carseat, etc. I hope you'll love it, too.

4-0 out of 5 stars useful but...
I received this as a shower gift and have used it from the very first day I took my son home from the hospital. I used the emery boards for his nails during the first 2 months and later have been using the scissors for his fingernails. Now I have also been using the clippers for his toe nails. My son was born with lots of hair so I use the brush quite often and he loves it when I do. The downside is the zipper broke after the 2nd week. ALthough I can try to have it replaced, I simply don't have the time to deal with it. I think it's a great idea to have all his grooming stuff in one compact case so it can go from nursery to travel bag with you.

3-0 out of 5 stars A Somewhat Helpful Little Kit
For a newborn, I found this grooming set to be pretty helpful. The pack is a little larger than I thought it would be, but I took all the tools out and keep them in a canister on one of the racks of our changing table.

The brush is very soft and can be soothing on baby's head. The bristles are light enough that they can move through her hair easily without causing pulls or snags. I haven't had to use the comb yet--we are a thin haired family, hehe. She's still too young for the toothbrush, also, and we have a better one we plan on using. The one with this kit is a little generic.

The scissors are definatly helpful; tiny and very sharp, but they come with blunt end bumps on the sharp end, so that there is no way to accidently cut baby if you are cutting a hair or thread near her wiggling body. The nail clippers are also great because they have an easy grip bulbous end that help you to hold them and are small enough to maneuver around her tiny nails. I haven't found a use for the emory boards; I'm pretty pro at cutting the nails without leaving edges, so I kind of hijacked the emory boards for my own manicure use, haha.

Overall, this pack has some items you will find useful, but some of them I just don't see myself using at all.

The kit's digital thermometer cantake a temperature orally, rectally, or from the underarm area, gets areading in approximately 60 to 90 seconds, and has an automatic shutofffunction. 2-0 out of 5 stars Only so-so
I registered for this without really thinking things through. I have been disappointed with the quality of the items. We had to use the medicine dropper when our son was only 2 weeks old, and it's very difficult to use. If you don't get the medicine dosage right the very first time, it's almost impossible to adjust it. Way too much air gets trapped inside. Additionally, it's hard to clean. As for the bulb syringe- use the one you get from the hospital. It's soooo much better. The themometer is accurate, but it doesn't beep!!! I got very frustrated trying to take my son's temperature under his arm. He was crying, and I had to keep staring at the small digital screen as well as hold him down.

The nail clippers are okay. I do like how they have a rather ergonomic handle.

Instead of buying a kit, buy what you need separately. You'll pay more, but you'll get a better product.

4-0 out of 5 stars Has it all!
I was given this as a gift from one of my students, and I use the clippers constantly. They are so much easier to use than the others on the market! The aspirator is smaller, and not quite as powerful as the one from the hospital, but it works almost as well. DO NOT buy the aspirator that has an opening on the end to "clean" it. It smells of plastic and is extremely difficult to use because it is hard to squeeze. Don't waste your money. I haven't used the other pieces yet, but they seem to work ok.

4-0 out of 5 stars Great but be careful what you put into it
It works great. I wouldn't worry about the condensation on it, I forgot to empty it after removing my items and left it sitting with water in it overnight (and it wasn't completely sealed) and it still smelled sterile the next day. I had used the Medela Spring Express pump I got at the hospital and was sterilizing all pieces but the spring in this. It melted the handle (which probably didn't really need to be sterilized, as it does not come in contact with the milk. I'll put other brand baby bottles in it, but besides that I only trust it with Avent products (but other items don't need to be sterilized as often so the traditional way would probably work). It's convenient for mothers who have other children running around (I'm on my second, though I do wish I had this for my daughter, I was more "anal" about sterilizing things with her as she was my first). Also note, according to a book compiled by pediatricians (can't remember the name offhand), they suggest you sterilize bottles and pacifiers until the baby is 6 months old.

5-0 out of 5 stars Very Convenient and Fast
I originally didn't buy or register for a sterilizer, but after having to boil bottles the old fashioned way at least twice a day, I started to wonder if there was an easier way of cleaning my daughter's bottles (we simply don't run our dishwasher that often, plus I wasn't keen on the possible detergent build up that might have occurred). I discovered this system by searching on Amazon and immediately purchased it. With the two bonus bottles, this has definitely paid off during the first week of usage. It is easy and makes sterilizing a snap. I can have a whole set of bottles cleaned and ready to go within ten minutes (seven minutes to sterilize and another three for cool down time) I even throw her pacifiers into it.

Definitely something to consider when purchasing the Avent bottles.

4-0 out of 5 stars Great time saver
My mom purchased this item for me so that I would not have to find a pot a boil bottles on the stove every time I washed bottles. Truly one of the best first time mom gifts I received. I only wish it would hold more than 4 bottles. I highly recommend it - it is practically worry free sterilizing. ... Read more

I received so many packages of washcloths at my baby showers. I had registered for these, and they remain my favorite. They are 10" by 10", larger than a lot of other washcloths. people complain about leaking, i have found that this only happens when you over tighten the tops. I love the bottles especially the disposable nurser. 5-0 out of 5 stars avent...we're #!
i was given the deluxe set, which came with the bottle brush/cleaner, & the "oh so smell good" baby wash as a gift, which i thought was very neat. i love avent bottles, as one parent said that it is versatile and it is. the bottles haver virtually no air, easy to clean and the two needed sizes of oz. that you're baby is going to need. my daughter loves it. i recently found myself in a jam when i went to a restaurant with some girlfriends and forgot the nipple for my daughter's bottle. well, instead of driving all the way home, i went to a store and bought her a "temporary" bottle (play#$%^x)to use to drink her milk...well she kept sucking the nipple inward and had gas for the rest of the afternoon...hopefully never again will i have to buy another brand for her. avent...is really the best and well worth the money!

1-0 out of 5 stars Terrible Product
These bottles were the worst I have ever used. The nipples either had to large of wholes, or no wholes at all. And to top it off, if you did not screw the nipple and lid on a certain way, the bottles leaked all over the place. So after two weeks of trying to use these bottles, my poor son had to gag on too much milk, cry because there was no milk, and was changed constantly because the milk was all over his clothes if we did not bother to check the lid to see if it was screwed on properly. I highly recommend Playtex products. Less air, they don't leak, and the baby does not gag on too much milk. ... Read more

Nikon Coolpix 2100 2MP Digital Camera w/ 3x Optical Zoom
    by Nikon
Average Customer Review: 4.13 out of 5 stars
    Electronics

US | Canada | United Kingdom | Germany | France

    Editorial Review

The Nikon Coolpix 2100 is a good choice for digital photography beginners, offering a compact size, 2-megapixel resolution, 3x optical zoom, and a bevy of automated scene controls that are customizeable.

The 2-megapixel CCD sensor captures bright images that can be printed up to 8 x 10 inches. However, 2 megapixels just doesn’t seem enough, especially when 3-megapixel cameras--like the Nikon 3100--are becoming so affordable. The movie mode captures smooth video up to 640 x 480 pixels for 7 seconds (or a more jaggy 15-second, 320 x 240-pixel videos), but it doesn’t offer any sound.

One of the most impressive features of the Nikon 2100 is its size. From the online pictures we originally viewed, we imagined it to be large and a bit clunky. While it’s a biton the chunky side, the 2100 is surprisingly small. Plus, the rounded ergonomic hand grip rested comfortably and securely in our hand.

The Nikon 2100 offers a whopping 14 scene modes that automatically set the camera’s white balance, exposure, and focusing point for different situations. The easy-to-learn software system features large icons and text to guide you through your choices. And some of the modes even provide an "assist" feature, with outlines of figures or landscapes to help line up the shot.

We had fun playing around with the scene modes and snapping pictures that made the most out of the shooting environment. However, we felt we lost some spontaneity if we relied too much on switching through the modes.

The Nikon 2100 is an affordable choice for a point-and-shoot camera that offers sharp, bright images and brings a lot of flexibility to the party. It comes with a starter 16 MB memory card and alkaline batteries, and we recommend a higher-capacity Compactflash card and rechargeable AA-size NiMH batteries.--Agen G.N. Schmitz

    Pros:

    • Compact size, comfortable in the hand
    • Customizeable scene modes
    • 2-megapixel resolution for prints up to 8 x 10 inches

    Cons:

    • Scene modes can be a bit too customizeable, and distract you from the shot

5-0 out of 5 stars Compact, Fast and Easy
I was an HP user for years until I found this little camera. I can't say enough good things about it, but here are a few that might help you make a decision when considering a purchase.

    1) This is a small camera. Finally, someone packed more features than I could ever use into the smallest form factor I have ever seen.

    2) You can manipulate virtually any setting to create the perfect photo everytime.

    3) The battery life is astonishingly good. I use lithium CR-3V batteries and they last for about 200 pictures WITH FLASH and WITH THE LCD DISPLAY.

    4) Compact Flash Memory--the most economical form of storage.

    5) Glass lens, optical zoom, and lens cover ensure you get up close, clear pictures without any scratches or dust on the image.

    6) Lightweight--not only is it small, you can drop this in your briefcase or into your jacket pocket and hardly know it is there.

    7) AUTO mode works 95% of the time. It is seldom that i have to fiddle with mode settings to get the picture right. Nikon uses smart technology to capture the image in its true form.

    8) Balanced color - no other camera I have used reproduces color as well in the 2MP range.

Hope you enjoy this camera as much as I have.

5-0 out of 5 stars very cute camera that produces great pictures
I just bought the camera today and I'm really happy with it.
Few weeks earlier, I bought the Sony DSCP52, played around with it, and then decided to return it. Sony does have a lot of features (and SOUND with the movie), but there are 3 important factors: the cost of the memory card, the size, and weight.

    PROS for Nikon 2100:
    ===================

    1) Supports compact flash memory cards.
-This makes a HUGE difference as it will save you a lot of money.

    2) Small compact camera.

-Unlike the Sony DSCP52 that makes your hand feel tired after holding it for too long with one hand.

    3) Weight.
    -Very light

    4) Doesn't use a proprietary battery like other small cameras.
-Mine came with the nikon coolpix rechargeable Ni-Mh70 batteries (these ones are really good ).

    5) So many modes to choose from depending on your situation.
-I don't know which other camera in this class comes with this many modes (like ones for fireworks, sunset/sunrise, beaches, etc.)

    6) Image transfer.
-This was pretty quick and easy. Installing the software doesn't take too long either.

    CONS:
    ====

    1) The manual is just way too confusing. It's kind of hard to follow, and I'm eager to discover all the wonderful things and features that I can use with the camera. I guess it takes a lot of time.

    2) No sound with the movie.

    3) Gets scratched easily + not very solid built (I'm always scared of damaging the battery door).

    4) When turning LCD mon on, it takes a few secs (though this is tolerable).

    Overall:
    =======
Note: I'm a beginner at taking digital pictures; this will be my first digital camera! But as a beginner, I find this camera to satisfy more than enough for my basic demands. I have yet to try out the sunrise mode, but so far the ones I've taken in my room look really good. I compared the pictures to the ones my friend took (Sony DSCP72) and they do look relatively the same. So unless you really need to print out huge pictures, 2.0MP is adequate.

4-0 out of 5 stars Good party camera!
I really offer this for someone who wants to buy a party-recording device, or a tiny automatic machine. No manual focus, no manual aperture, but easy-to-use, handy machine. There are some good pre-programmed modes available also. 40-50 pictures can be made with well charged batteries. Good and user-friendly sw also included. ... Read more
