This special game pack includes the new PlayStation2 console (with controller), a Sony 8 MB memory card, a PS2 DVD remote control, and the game Zone of the Enders.

At the heart of the PlayStation2 is the 128-bit Emotion Engine processor, which brings lightning-fast gameplay and unprecedented graphics power to your TV screen.

In Zone of the Enders, you'll command the orbital frame against several robotic opponents. The game features agile 3-D movement, both in the air and on land, and smart camera work that keeps your opponent in view during the most intense, furious battles. The game also comes with a playable demo of Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty.

This bundle includes a Sony 8 MB memory card. We've also included a DVD remote, which lets you access all of the PlayStation2's DVD playback functions.

5-0 out of 5 stars This System Kicks ...
This is unarguably the best system in the world i give this great system a 10/10 for graphics, sound, and gameplay. So far i think that the best game in existance is Grand Theft Auto 3

1-0 out of 5 stars Don't loose your money with Sony! Defect! Unsupported!
I bought the Sony Playstation 2 game console, along with (dollar amount)of accessories, last year for Christmas. The game console comes with nothing. No remote, no games (unless you buy the so called value packs), nothing. You even have to buy the stand for it separately! But that isn't the problem.

The problem is, I bought the remote control unit from the Sony store in Gaffney, SC. The remote control unit is REQUIRED if you want to use the console as a DVD player. It just will not work any other way. Several weeks after Christmas, the whole thing just quits working. I called Sony and they told me that the remote control unit (that I bought from the Sony store) caused the console to break and they would not cover the cost of fixing it. They said my warranty was VOID! The reason? Because I used an unsupported device to control the DVD player. First of all, I bought the remote control unit from Sony. Second of all, the package had a BIG PS2 logo on it. Third, the Sony sales person told me that I had to buy that unit in order to use the DVD player. And last, there was no other remote unit offered in any store, anywhere! To make matters worse... When I called Sony, the first thing question they asked was if I used a remote control device with the system. They knew that this was a problem and they sold me the unit anyway.

So, if you want to invest (dollar amount) in a game system this Christmas, don't buy Sony or you might wide up with a broken pile of (stuff) that you can't even sell on Ebay. The games were not even that great anyway. Go to Media Play and try the new X-Box. The games are much better. And for (less), you get the complete package. Two game pads, three games, a carrying case, everything. And Microsoft backs it. When have you ever had a problem with Microsoft supporting their products? Never! Or if you have a problem with Microsoft, get the new Nintendo system. Just don't buy Sony. Never buy Sony!

4-0 out of 5 stars Z.O.E is like playing Battlezone SpaceCombat....
And frankly, PS2'a only true worth is for the Final Fantasy games coming out on it.The PS2 has the best advantage over other systems but the programming is so hard to pull off that many developers just went the other directiong instead of staying with Sony.Nintendo and Gates dumped out a lot of cash on their machines and got the production rolling.Nintendo's Programmer Friendly system will have developers poping out great games with more time to focus on actual Gameplay and quality while the graphics and effects are easy to take care of.Xbox will have more for the gamer to use, such as a onboard storage for game data. The data card was an upgrade from the 64's cartridge memory, and the console storage is an even further upgrade.

I'm sorry to say, being a PSX fan, that PS2's poptential as one of the greatest and most versitle programable consoles will never be seen.Nintendo has been in the game too long and will always come out a winner or at least making it to the playoffs every season, and with all my hope the Xbox won't see a second season.Though i'm afraid gates could still pop money into it out of his own pocket to keep it going for the next few decades.

Bottom line: the only reason i got the PS2 is for the Final Fantasy games. That's the only reason. But what i don't understand is why all of a sudden people are hating the PS2.It's still a great machine and it will still have some killer games coming out for it.Half-life for starters (the best PC game action ever made with the greatest mods).Bien sur, FFx's Metal Gear Solid 2.So really, if you want a powerful gaming system then you'll go buy Area 51 by Alienware and grab Return to Wolf, Counter Strike, Medal o'Honor2, Jedi Outcast. ... Glacier Game Boy Advance Mario Xtreme Game Pack

    Editorial Review

To help you start your Game Boy Advance collection, we've created this special bundle, which includes the games Super Mario Advance and Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2, along with selected accessories. Players will perform hundreds of complicated tricks for points while incorporating environmental obstacles into their acts in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2. In Super Mario Advance, players take the swashbuckling plumber and his compatriots Luigi, Peach, and Toad on a nostalgic side-scrolling adventure through a richly colored fantasyland. We've also included a PowerPak to help you save on batteries, a Worm Light Advance to help you play through low-light situations, and a Game Boy holster so you can keep your machine at the ready.

Please note that accessory colors may vary from illustration above. No substitutions allowed.

The Game Boy platform (which includes the original unit, the Game Boy Pocket, and the Game Boy Color) came to market when most video game consoles had a life expectancy of just a few years. More than a decade later, the system is still going strong. How did the Game Boy successfully compete--and in some cases bury--an onslaught of faster, more powerful handheld and home console systems? Let us count the ways: affordability; a huge library of games that consistently made the most of the hardware's limitations; smart power management that extended battery life; and uncluttered controls. But perhaps it was the system's ultra-portable design that allowed devotees to play video games around their schedules, thus making it a must-have system for kids and adults alike.

Now the Game Boy Advance (or GBA, as it's already being called) comes to us with power that would have been unthinkable back in the day. The portable's 32-bit RISC CPU runs circles around the former's 8-bit workhorse, allowing it to process program instructions much faster. What that means to everyday gamers is more intricate visuals, more simultaneous movement on the screen, and better sound. In fact, the often-annoying beeps and boops of old-school Game Boy titles are being replaced with digitized stereo sound. The extra processing muscle also means you can even network up to four Game Boy Advance units together, via the communication cable, for multiplayer fun off of one shared cartridge. Only two Game Boy Color units could link together, and each unit required a copy of the game.

What's not being replaced, however, is the wide selection of Game Boy games. Because the Game Boy Advance system is backward-compatible, it will play its own line of colorful games--including such launch titles as Super Mario Advance, F-Zero: Maximum Velocity, Army Men Advance, High Heat Major League Baseball 2002, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater, and Ready 2 Rumble Boxing: Round 2--as well as all of the monochrome and color games that have already been released for the previous Game Boy systems (nearly 500 in total). Players can view the older games in their smaller, originally square dimensions, or, with the touch of the shoulder button, expand the game to fit the GBA's larger screen. We tried enlarging the screen on a Game Boy Color edition of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2, and found that Mr. Hawk was much easier to see.

When you first pick up the system, you'll be amazed how lightweight it is. At fewer than 5 ounces and a little larger than a deck of playing cards, the system easily fits into a shirt pocket without any sag. The GBA's wider shape fits better into a wider range of hands. The former design too often pushed the left and right thumb knuckles together during gameplay. The new layout should be comfortable for all ages, and the center screen orientation makes it easy to see.

Game Boy Color owners will find the GBA's larger screen somewhat darker than they're used to, but that's because the screen is outfitted with antiglare technology. Like the old Game Boy Color, the color LCD is not backlit, so you need pretty good light to play by. Unlike that system, though, you won't be craning your neck and tilting the unit to see around the hot-spot reflection of the light bulb in your screen.

But you'll also notice the graphics. Sporting what's basically a redesigned SNES technology, you'll see things on the GBA that the big consoles do, such as scaling (making objects larger or smaller) and rotation effects--technological advances that will affect the look of everything from crossing a finish line to throwing a touchdown pass to crawling through a dungeon.

Some might argue that Nintendo could have tried to put even more power into this Game Boy Advance. After all, the 32-bit video game had its heyday more than five years ago. Perhaps, but after handling this new handheld, we're inclined to think that Nintendo wisely struck a balance between size, price, and power consumption. And considering how well the old 8-bit system weathered the decade's technological storms, we think the Game Boy Advance is here to stay, and we're glad. --Porter B. Hall

well, i'm only rating the gba cuz that's all i got , the graphics are really great and you get to adjust the sizes of the screen if you play a gb/gbc series game on the gameboy advance. i have super mario advance and i love it, i mean, who wont.....

5-0 out of 5 stars THE PERFECT BUNBLE
First of all let me start off saying GBA is the most powerful gaming system.IT IS BETTER THAN NEO GEO COLOR!! It has 32 bit graphics with a risc prossesor.Even though it is 32 bit that does not mean that the graphics will be as good as playstation but who cares, for a portable gaming system 32 bit is excellent.

I would also like to point out that the screen is a bit darker and it does not glare much. In other words yes you can see what your doing.

AH yes i bet that all of you are wondering about the battery life and of course the sound.

First let me start off talking a bit about the battery. Two AA batteries are required to play GBA but the good thing is that the play time is extended by 5 more hours. That makes 15 hours of non-stop fun.

Now lets talk about the sound! The sound is greatly improved but, for example in super mario advance the characters voices get extremely annoying

Now lets talk about the games. Tony Hawk 2 has the best graphics out of all the games released so far but i would like to add that it is a little bit hard to control.E3 has done a grat job with this game

Supa Mario Advace- you know i actually expected this game to be something new but instead Nintendo really dissapointed me.The game has two original games, Super Mario and Super Mario bros. 2 which are two good games.Well thats about it.Isnt this review pretty good for a 13 year older who only sits around playing gba and computer games!PS sergey berig

    Editorial Review

At last, the prayers of NASCAR Racing 3 fans have beenanswered. Its sequel, NASCAR Racing 4, comes with theoutstanding physics model hard-core NASCAR fans have been clamoringfor, along with all 21 tracks from the 2000 Winston Cup season and carsfrom all four NASCAR manufacturers. It's the most complete NASCARsimulation to date, and the realistic physics add a new dimension tothe gameplay. Proper weight transfer is now imperative, and adjustmentsmade to spoilers, shocks, and other components of the car becomeimmediately evident on the track as the car reacts accordingly.

With the right processor and video card, NASCAR Racing 4 cangenerate visuals that are difficult to distinguish from TV broadcasts.Smoke from burnouts and collisions can hang in the air for minutes, andthe new physics model means cars hunker down on their shocks whilebraking and turning. The tracks are all cracked and pitted, with tiremarks and oil trails slowly building up on the standard racing lines. The cars feature immaculate paint jobs that are fully customizableusing the included painting tools.

Those shiny cars can quickly lose their luster thanks to the new damagemodel. Minor bumps and scrapes can take the paint off, while majoraltercations can leave you with bent wheels, a crumpled hood thatobscures your vision, or any of a million other problems. The car'shandling changes based on the damage it has suffered, sometimes pullingso violently to the right or left that racing becomes impossible. Anadded effect of the new physics model is that cars can finally getairborne, making wrecks more realistic than any seen in a NASCARsimulation.

The single-player mode offers computer-controlled opponents that driverealistically, although they can be too aggressive if you're on a linethey want. It's much more fun to build some skill in the single-playergame and then migrate to online play, where drivers from around theworld perpetually challenge one another. NASCAR Racing 4 isn'tperfect at this point, but a few patches should correct what minorflaws it has, and it still stands as the best NASCAR simulation evercreated. --T. Byrl Baker

5-0 out of 5 stars Get it!
I ordered the Logitech Wingman Formula Force GP w/ foot pedals on a late Sunday afternoon, using the super saver free shipping. I believe Amazon reports that the free shipping takes 7 - 9 days to be delivered? Tuesday afternoon at 4pm, almost exactly 48 hours later, the wheel was at my house! It arrived in a brand new, excellent, unscathed condition.

I took the wheel out and mounted it to the lip of my computer desk using the two screw down plastic clamps provided underneath the wheel. I thought the clamps looked flimsy, and would probably break easily! However, I have been playing for days now and the wheel is completely stable and does not move nor suffer from "plastic flex"! Just make sure you do _not_ overtighten them when you screw them down! Just get them secure, they WILL hold if you do it properly. I find the wheel to be the perfect size for my desk, I can keep it attached and use my keyboard and mouse without any problems at all.

Next, I positioned the foot pedals on the floor. My desk has a bottom board, and I put the foot pedals up against it so they won't slide. They have a jack similar to a telephone, and it plugs directly into the righthand side of the wheel. The A/C adapter plugs in next to the phone-jack type port for the pedals, and is very lightweight!

Then, I started up my computer and installed the software. You put the disk in, and it comes up with a menu that lets you install it. If you already have another Logitech device, such as a Wingman joystick, then you don't need to install the software! It uses the same stuff! Once the software is installed, you simply plug the USB connector into your computer, and POOF! The system will immediately make any changes it has to, and you can start using your wheel! I would strongly suggest a calibration before use.

The wheel and pedals are very durable, and work flawlessly. The paddle shifters are easy to reach and use! I find the best game to use this wheel with is Need for Speed: Underground. They make a great combo.

It takes a slight breaking in period to get used to using a wheel. While it makes the game very realistic, remember that it is still up to the game programmers to provide good game physics for using it! I've also played with a Microsoft Force Feedback wheel at a friend's house, and I like this Logitech a lot better!

1-0 out of 5 stars Microsoft Wheel is better
This wheel is perfectly centered, until you plug in the usb. Then it goes off center by almost 45 degrees. It has a grinding feel like it needs to be oiled. It also sqeaks when turning. Driving with the wheel off center makes it harder to reach the buutons. Go Microsoft.

3-0 out of 5 stars Little too jerky
Overall a good buy for the money. Wheel is very jerky and too sensitive in Nascar racing and Indy Car racing. Turning on Steering assist in Nascar racing smooths things out but some online leagues don't allow this. Pedals are OK. Spaced very well. Brake pedal feels very sensitive. ... Read more

    Editorial Review

While the Twisted Metal line of vehicular combat games has had unevenepisodes, the developers at Incog have thankfully brought the series back inblack, and it has never been better. Twisted Metal: Black pushes theenvelope in terms of graphics, gameplay, and content. It's a tremendous game, but parents should keep in mind that it carries a Mature rating from ESRB andits content may be unsuitable for younger players. Gamers old enough to handleit will be treated to a must-have game for the PlayStation2.

Twisted Metal: Black is one of the best-looking games on the market. Thecharacter design, animations, particle effects, and lighting effects are alltopnotch, yet the game still runs at a speedy frame rate--even in multiplayermodes. The game isn't all about looks though, as gameplay is very deep andcontains several modes. You'll want to play single-player story mode severaltimes just to see how the game ends for its numerous compelling characters. Eachcharacter has a story line that's simple yet captivating. More importantly, eachof the characters' vehicles has meaningful differences, so players are bound tofind a rig that fits their playing styles.

With its slick gameplay, interesting characters, wide variety of modes, andbreathtaking graphics, Twisted Metal: Black is the best vehicular combatgame yet, and, so far, the best PlayStation2 game of the year. --Raymond M.Padilla

5-0 out of 5 stars IM GOING CRAZY JUST THINKING ABOUT IT!!!!!!
WOW this game rocks I dont know what else to say It is without a doubt the darkest one in the series let me give you a small taste of some of the characters

Sweet Tooth a demented clown serial killer who has finally been caught but on his exacution night he get a curse put on him by another character named preacher

Mr Grimm (my personal favorite) a veteran from veietnam while there him and his buddy benny are captured and put into a hole soon his buddy dies there is only one way for mr. grimm to survive.....

Raven her and her friend were subjects to a high school hazing but it went wrong resulting in her friends death she wants revenge.....

John doe a man that was struck by some sort of amneiseia all he has from his past life is the tatoos that coveer his body but looking at them you would think he was one nasty piece of work.

these are just my favorite characters but there are tons more of them but the story line isnt all that makes up twisted metal black there is also a numerous amount of diferrent cars that you can choose from not to mention tons of weapons

here is a taste of the gameplay:

imagine you are a guy on a bike you been sitting and waiting... then out of no where a icecream truck comes bashing through the window while in mid air it takes on a transformation into a man with an icecream cone in his hand then he starts shooting at you!! about fifteen missles collide with your bike you drive around a wall to avoid the other fiveyou are in pretty bad shape. you then reach into you pouch on the side of your motorcycle and draw out a sickle soon the icecream truck comes around the corner you start letting it loose with your machine gun that is on the passenger side car while fireing you throw the sickle youve been holding it collides with the ice cream truck and exsplodes the car blows up and a man runs out on fire. victory... good job only six more cars to go

this game as you can see is non stop action all the way through and it will make a good game to add to your collection

4-0 out of 5 stars Multi-player really saves this game
Twisted Metal: Black is part of a long line of vehicle combat games that began on the PSOne.This one is the most advanced and complex of them all (NOTE: there is a brand new version for the PSP that I have not played yet); however, the game plays pretty much just like every version that has been released since the old PSOne days. The game is fun, but it almost feels like it is becoming dated. The plus side is you can probably find it for pretty cheap nowadays.

The game moves FAST and can be a little difficult to play at first.Unless you've played a Twisted Metal game before you will probably need to switch to the Easy setting against the computer until you get used to the controls and the speed of the game. The graphics are decent even by today's standards, and the levels can get to be pretty large and intricate, but you are going to be moving so fast to avoid enemies that you don't get much time to enjoy them. The music and lighting gives the game an eerie sort of feel that reminds me of the old Quake games.

In single-player mode you get three options:Story, Challenge, and Endurance. The Challenge and Endurance modes are pretty much just a practice for the Story mode, where you will spend most of your time playing individually. The gist of story mode is you pick one of a group of cars/drivers who has some problem that can be solved by winning this car destruction tournament.Being that the story has nothing to do with gameplay, and each story is of some deranged lunatic that follows the same pattern, you may get bored with the story pretty easiliy and just skip the screens to get to the action.Additional cars and levels can be unlocked in the Story mode, so you will want to spend some time playing it even if the story gets a little boring.

The real fun of this game is the Multi-player mode. You can play a 2-player co-operative Story game but I find it more fun to go head-to-head against others. There is nothing like challenging a friend to some violent car-destruction action (Or up to three friends if you have a Multi-tap).The Story mode can get a little repetitive after a while, but it's always a lot fun to destroy your friend's cars!

5-0 out of 5 stars The Dark Side of Fun
Twisted Metal Black is the pinnacle of the series. For those uninitiated, the game follows the tortured and demented stories of several combatants, selected from an asylum to participate in some vehicular mayhem in order to get a shot at personal redemption, usual with a "twist".

The game is of the older PS2 generation, but still holds up in graphics and gameplay. The levels, cinematics, and plotlines are all expectedly dark and brooding, and you can adjust the challenge and difficulty according to your skill level.

As with every other game in the series, you have a host of characters to choose from, and each bring their own variety of strengths and weaknesses to the table. Coupled with the unique story, this adds to the replay value in that you're given a new adventure with a new set of skills each time you play. It won't take long for you to pick your favorite antihero.

The music and sounds are pretty standard by today's fare. Not much to report there.

The multiplayer is simply okay, for both at home and online. I didn't bother too much with it. However, the sheer amount of levels in the game, couple with the unlockables really expands the multiplayer experience when the single player loses its luster. Fair warning, make sure you have a large screen, because there's a marked difference between the single and multi-player experience in terms of screen space. It's noticeably invasive.

For the bargain basement prices this game goes for now, it's definitely worth a look for those looking for games that depart from the norm. This really is the best in the series, the action is chaotic, the stories and settings are neurotic, and if you're just a little bit twisted, and want a quick and easy (cheap) fix, check this one out. Editorial Review

The PlayStation2 takes the Gran Turismo franchise to new heights in thethird edition of the venerable racing series. The graphics are sure to grabyou--the cars and tracks are awe inspiring, and there are some incredible lightingeffects. This game is much more than eye candy, though.

The gameplay in Gran Turismo 3: A-Spec is the same as its predecessors;fans of the previous games will feel right at home, while newcomers will be ableto pick things up easily. There are more than 150 cars from which to choose, andplenty of tracks upon which to race them. Arcade mode works well for a quickfix, while simulation mode provides outstanding replay value. The sound effectsare impressive--each engine has a unique sound, and tire screeches fromdifferent cars sound noticeably different. The soundtrack is a good mix oforiginal compositions and a wide variety of recording artists, including MotleyCrue, Raekwon, Jimi Hendrix, and Snoop Dogg.

One minor flaw with the game is its relatively predictable artificialintelligence. Computer-controlled cars follow distinct lines, and you'll be ableto pick up the patterns after a few races. Considering how far the graphics havecome since the original Gran Turismo, it's disappointing that the AIhasn't progressed similarly. Despite this, GT3 remains an outstandinggame. Few games offer its combination of high quality and immense variety.--Raymond M. Padilla

    Pros:

    • Incredible graphics
    • Excellent physics and controls
    • Great soundtrack
    Cons:
    • Predictable AI
    • No Porsche or Ferrari licenses

    • Gran Turismo 3 raises the bar for racing games.
    • Using the calculation power of the PlayStation 2, the physics model is identical to that of a real car!
    • Feel the speed as you maneuver through curves and shoot down straight-aways.
    • Environment mapping creates broadcast-quality graphics that blur the line between game and reality.

5-0 out of 5 stars Only GT4 is better!!
The only driving simulator that is better is GT4. If your expecting an easy arcade like racer with Lambo's and dressed up import's go try NFS or some other title. Gran Turismo is the measure by which all racing game's are compared to, and justifable too. Realistic graphic's and physic's are great. Expect to take a lot of time learning to drive. This is not a casual racer. Only two comment's/annoyance's are the music and number of car's. 1. Cars: Or should I say lack of car'
    s. I think there were more car's in the original Gran Turismo(not sure I could be wrong). Also I think that more of a variety of car's. After winning the 50th Nissan Skyline(not sold in USA) it get a bit annoying, lol. This is fixed in GT4 so don't worry too much(number of car's). 2.Music: Aside from Lenny Kravitz and Motley Crue the sound is pale in comparison to GT2(The best of Gran turismo soundtracks). This also goes for GT4(apart from Van Halen's-"Panama"). It seem's as if they spent so much time and effort on other area's and music was an afterthought. In the first two (GT and GT2) soundrtack's they were an integril(I know I spelled that wrong, lol)part of the experience. Only serious racer's and car nuts need to apply.

1-0 out of 5 stars I MEAN NO STARS!
    This game has bad graphics.
    It has sucky cars.
It is so hard to play on different tracks.
The cars dosn't even have a driver in it.

5-0 out of 5 stars The King of All Racing Games!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I've been a fan of Gran Turismo ever since it's debut. The game is so addictive that I have played it for 10 hours straight! The graffics are stunning and the courses are well made. My favorite part about the game is that they brought in F1 racers. I smoke the competition every time I use my 900 horsepowered monster! Over all this game is AWESOME! ... Read more

    Editorial Review

Imagine insane jumps, wild off-road courses, and crazy stuntsthat could only be performed in the make-believe world of video games.Add to that the power of the PlayStation2 system, and you have all theingredients of an arcade classic racing title on the PS2.

The physics in ATV Offroad Fury are absolutely incredible.Drivers and ATVs react accordingly as they hit the ground, and otherriders need to be wary when someone takes a wipeout--one fall on thesetight courses can send a shockwave of collisions through the pack.

The game provides arcade-style controls, which fit perfectly with thebest aspects of the game. ATV Offroad Fury is one game that isbest played with friends, as the artificial intelligence isunrealistically consistent. If you mess up, computer-controlled ridersslow down to offer you a chance to get back into things. It does notseem to matter how poorly a player does for the first three laps of afive-lap race. If no mistakes are made in the final two laps, thecomputer opponents are easily overtaken.

The tracks are separated into three distinct groups: indoors, outdoors, and freestyle. The indoor tracks are fairly similar, as they are thesame type of supercross tracks that you would see in a motocross game. The outdoor tracks, however, show much more variety in their terrainsand backgrounds. From lush forests to harsh deserts all the way tosnow-covered tundra, every track provides a different experience. Thegame's sound is merely decent; hearing those high-pitched engines atfull throttle for too long begins to sound like you are being chased bya pack of killer bees.

Overall, ATV is a solid game that most everyone will want totry. The multiplayer mode really makes for a great party game, not onlyfor its earnest competitiveness, but also for the entertainment valueof the crashes and lunatic jumps and stunts. --Todd Mowatt

    Pros:

    • 22 different tracks
    • 20 different ATVs
    • Crisp control
    • Plenty of depth and replayability
    Cons:
    • AI makes for unrealistic races
    • Combo tricks are very difficult to pull off
    • Poor use of the PS2 controller force-feedback feature

4-0 out of 5 stars A Very Fun Game But It Needs Help In Making More Boards
This is a great game. Alot of fun to play. The only downside to it is that it doesn't have a ton of boards. An unbelievable game needs to have many boards to play at. I love racing Games. The make you get more competitive. I'm not normally into video games but I like these types of games. So I believe that you should get this game. It's fun and competitive.

2-0 out of 5 stars Offroad fury: Not any good
Now this game has gotten great reviews. A lot of my freinds have it and love it. But I just dont understand why. Wiping out is cool and a lot of fun on the stunt mode and thats why I gave it the 2 stars. Racing is boring. I tjought ATVs would of worked but I guess they didnt.

Better just stick to cars and motorcycles.

3-0 out of 5 stars Not a good game
The problems with this game are sensitivity and vehicle control. If you crash it will put you last in the pack and you may never catch up. Some levels are hard to pass because of this issue. Also, you must steer and land accurately or you'll be thrown off the ATV and might lose the race.

Overall, the game play is fun, but just a little difficult to control. ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars this game is the worst i ever played
this game sucks. graphics suck gameplay sucks cars suck there are three angles to drive from and all are bad. and its impossibly hard. if there was a 0 i would have rated it that. its TERRIBLE!!

1-0 out of 5 stars What a Dissapointment
The graphics, sound, and special effects of this game really ..., especially for the PS2. This looks and feels like a mediocre N64 game. Its no fun at all, I want to sell mine and i got it like a week ago. Sure it has all the trucks and sport ulitilties (for its date), but they are boaring to drive. I reccomend a newer rally game like V-Rally 3, WRC, or Colin Mcrae 3. 4x4 evolution is just plain [junk]. Id rather have a blank disc, at least I could put decent music on that..

1-0 out of 5 stars Slow Motion?????
Is this game in slow motion or what? The cars "speed" along at a snails pace.Free Roam? I didn't see any free roam.I bought this game because it was supposed to have more free roam areas than Test drive wide open off road which only has three.Test Drive rocks, the trucks are fast, the gameplay is fast, I hope they come out with a second one with more free roam areas. If you like unrealistic slow moving vehicles buy 4x4 Evo, if you want fast mud pounding terrain trouncing fun, buy Test Drive Offroad Wide Open!Too bad there is no option for 0 Stars ...
