Horrible device
Does not establish solid connection to phone.After about 4 months, battery life was so poor that I ended up calling tech support.Was never able to get issues resolved and the device is now worthless.

it sucks plain and simple
pairing only achieved sporadically and the damn thing refused to turn on even after hours of charging. Then it refused to do anything at all.Thanks for nothing amazon.

Do NOT Under and Circumstance Buy This Item
Bought this as I hoped it would save me from the new no-phone while driving laws. Problem is (a) battery life is non-existent - seems to last 15 to 30 minutes at best, (b) buttons are too small - hard to know when it's on/off, let alone alter the volume, (c) very hard to get the clips - I tried both sizes - on my ears consistently, (d) the clips are infuriating - not talking about abuse here - just put it in the glovebox or in your jacket, and next time you look the clips will be broken - everytime in the same place - Nokia has designed a lemon, and should be producing a workable, comfortable clip to salvage its appalling product here. My supplier (not Amazon) doesn't want to know and, just to add insult to injury - their only "solution" of new clips doesn't work. They're always out of stock. Never, ever, ever buy this product - I would not even pay a dollar for it.

Does NOT work with all 3650s
I bought this headset specifically because apprently my 3650 doesn't play well with bluetooth accessories, and this one says its compatable. Well, it isnt. I could never get it to pair with my phone. I know that bluetooth works on my phone because I connect it to my computer regularly.

After talking to Nokia, they said that the "firmware" in my phone was an old version, and so this headset wouldn't work with my phone after all. Be wary of buying this headset.

Works Great, When it Works!!!!!
I have used this unit for a couple of months with a Nokia 6310i phone and would like to share my experience.

First of all, the ear hanger is fragile and needs to be treated with some care. If you follow the instructions you should have no problems. However, be very careful how you handle the unit when you are not using it as something as simple as placing this in your coat or shirt pocket could break the hanger if the unit is bumped or twisted in the pocket.

Seoondly, the battery life is no where near what Nokia claims. I tend to get about 24-30 hours in standby and usually less than 1 hour of talk time. I charged the unit and then called Nokia tech support and in less than 15 minutes the headset was giving me a low battery warning. It then charged back to full in less than 5 minutes. Clearly there is a problem either with my unit, or with the design.

En la publicidad dice que es compatible con Nokia 3650, pero la verdad que luego de mucho averiguar estos no son compatibles...que horror...lo que sucede es que M1000 es compatible con "headset Bluetooth profile" y el 3650 tiene "handsfree Bluetooth profile" y eso es suficiente para no ser compatibles...luego de luchar 10 meses me encontre con esta sorpresa...y yo que pensaba que algo malo estaba haciendo...

This is made for Bluetooth phones in general...
And it only sort of worked with my Sony Ericsson T68i. Half the time it cut out, wouldn't connect to the phone at all, and wouldn't answer calls when I pressed the button. Also, the earhook is a piece of garbage. It breaks right at the point where it fits into the hole in the headset itself. My first one broke three and a half weeks after I received as a gift. They sent me two new ones for free as a one time courtesy, and the second one had nearly broken as well, but by then I had received my new bluetooth headset, the Jabra Freespeak, which I wholeheartedly recommend over the Plantronics M1000. Don't buy this headset! If I could give it zero stars, I would!!

Does not work!
The device has issues. Windows drivers are old from 2002.
It is not waking up after hibernation.
I had issues when I use with Bluetooth headset.
Not recommended.

Buying my second
Bluetooth isn't for everybody. You have to understand which devices provide what services, how to discover device, and how to pair devices. It isn't like the wireless ethernet stuff that you buy and it just runs out of the box. Once you conquer it though it is just too cool.

My wife is a mobile network. She has her bluetooth enabled cellphone, bluetooth earbud for the phone, and bluetooth pda. We have a hawking bluetooth usb adapter connected to the computer at home. So, with this, my wife can do hands free calls with her cell phone with no wires... she can even be up to 30 feet from the phone and still talking on it with her earbud. She can surf the internet with Internet Explorer with her IPaq PDA through GPRS on her cellphone (up to 115 Kbps for free on t-mobile) and of course get her email on her IPaq instead of using the keyboard interface on her telephone she is using Windows 2003 Mobile. She is also able to synch her pda and phone using the bluetooth so she doesn't have to hook it up with the usb cable.

We're getting the second adapter now because she has gotten a laptop. She can now carry her laptop and get the same surfing capabilities and so on using the bluetooth and the phone's communications abilities.

Bottom line is that the investment of thirty bucks and the time to figure out how to make this thing to work can really be worth while if it is what you need. You'd have a hard time taking my bluetooth away from me!

works well
This adapter works very well compared to the Sony bluetooth adapter I tried (and returned). The Ambicom has good compatability between brands, and the software enables you to link easily with different services. There is even an option in the software to set up an ActiveSync connection, and a proxy internet connection for your PPC. Now my ipaq and vaio can sync easily without wires, using ActiveSync. In the setup, getting the COMport numbers correct can be a bit tricky -- it's important to payattention to the steps in installation, and to consult your PDA manual. Also, I find I need to connect to ActiveSync (on the ipaq) through the bluetooth manager, which is easy, no problem. Once it's set up, it connects perfectly every time. A relief, after struggling with the Sony adapter and software -- and the Ambicom is half the price -- so I give this one 5 stars.

it works on well on win 2k but not on my XP
I bought the ambicom usb adapter to transfer my pictures from my nokia 3650 cellphone.I installed it on my older pc that had windows 2000 and it works nomally on the "Bluetooth Neigbohood" software i can transfer midi files and pictures easily, but when i installed my phone's PC Suite software it couldnt detect the bluetooth connection and i cant sync my phone at all. I can only transfer files back a forth by the provided software but it does not get detected by my phone's sync software. I also tried to install it on my XP (home edition) laptop but i doesnt work at all. There is no bluetooth connecition at all and i have installed everything the way it should be. I dont think its compatible on XP at all.

Works a promised!Installation a snap!
Having read some of the reviews for other Bluetooth adapters out there, I was a bit reluctant to get a product from a relatively unknown maker.I'm glad I gave it a chance!

I installed it on my home XP Pro (SP1) system on a USB 1.1 (powered) hub!It installed in minutes, and a couple of clicks after that, I was synchronizing my iPAQ 2215 via a bluetooth connection.

This item comes with short USB extension cable.I won't use it since I think it's safer to have the adapter securely plugged into my hub, but I do understand why some people may find it helpful.The adapter itself is very compact, and it doesn't take up more than its share of space on my hub, thus allowing me to use all the plugs next to it.

There are two versions of the latest software for this model, depending on your unit's serial number... Make sure to select the correct one if you download the latest drivers.

There isn't anything special about the design or looks of this small adapter, but so far it's worked perfectly for me.I don't know the exact distances but I've been able to connect my PDA from anywhere in my apartment.

No problems - Win XP Home & Professional SP1, SP2 & ME
I bought this adapter in October 2004 and have been using it extensively with my Sony Ericsson T610 & now Nokia 6230 cellphones. I use the adapter to synchronize my outlook items, download ringtones,pictures, games to my cellphones.

I didnt have any problems in installation. I installed the drivers/software from Dlink website instead of the CD. Working like a breeze if you follow the instructions provided in the website.

Stay far away!
I've bought Bluetooth DBT-120 version B4 adapter....Included driver on CD and even online support download page doesn't work on Windows XP due to installer bug! You must manually update driver from hardware properties to load appropriate D-link driver... After installation D-link driver always complain about `security code not found' and acting like a virus by opening message box every few seconds!After spending on it $40 and over hour of fighting with software bugs I've returned all my recently purchased D-Link hardware including this adapter. (Lucky me I still was under 30 days of return period) Sound like company got very weak development team and no software quality assurance control all!
P.S Belkin Bluetooth adapter was installed in just few minutes without single issue.

Iogear Bluetooth USB Adapter
Well I just got this the other day I think that this is great product with all the features it has ie: Bluetooth file sharing, Bluetooth "pairing" and internet connection sharing (which I am still trying to figure). I have apalmone zire 72 w/ Bluetooth and so this is great to link my pda with my bluetooth enabled computer. If I do not Figure-out how to share my internet then it was not a waste of money because it's still much cooler that using a usb cable and hotsyning it with my pda, now I can roam around my house as much as I would like. The distance is awsome 330 ft. I mean bluetooth alone is only 30 so for it to be 300 more feet then the usual is great my house is only about 70-100 fet long so I could even go outside great product!!

The dreaded "license.dat" error...
This device is not easy to install. The error "Your license does not permit use with this device" is entirely misleading because the problem is actually that the Microsoft generic drivers have been installed instead of the Belkin set. The other symptom is that the Bluetooth Configuration control panel won't work. The following is for those familiar with the Device Manager:

If the drivers fail to install properly, the instructions say to install through the driver update pathway by pointing to the bin folder in the Belkin program folder. This will not work in XP. There are a number of threads on the Internet but they boil down to: 1. In Device Manager, right-click the "Belkin Bluetooth Adapter" and select "Update driver" 2. Select "Install from a list or specific location Advanced)" -> Next 3. Select "Don't search, I will choose the driver to install" -> Next 4. There should be two options: "Belkin Bluetooth Adapter" and "Belkin Bluetooth Device". "Belkin Bluetooth Device" is not digitally signed. Select it and click Next.

The software worked properly after this maneuver but it took hours to get there.

100 inches, not 100 meters
Don't waste your time or money.I can't belive this adapter is rated to 100 meters.I tried 2 different units, and neither worked beyond 10-15 feet.I do have a wirless mouse, but I swapped it out for a wired one with no difference, so interference wasn't the problem.

In addition, the setup is a pain.Not really Belkin's fault, but XP home "hijacks" the installation process and installs Microsoft drivers without giving you the chance to install the Belkin driver.

You may or may not get "invalid license" errors, in which case you have to uninstall and reinstall.

Finally, I got a consistent "network cable disconnected" error icon in my systray.Please explain where this disconnected "cable" is in a Bluetooth network.

Problems with itthe RIO
I am not sure which is deffective, but the RIO I have doesn't always read the chip and I am not sure which one has the problems. My guess is the chip since it reads the memory on the player fine.

Great buy
There really isn't too much you can say about memory. But the card I bought works perfectly and is has not given me problems yet. I use mine in a Rio Sport S35S and it works like a charm.

Never suffer embarassing loneliness again!
This charger is wonderful. It fully charges my phone in a matter of just a few hours and saves me time when I'm on the run and in a hurry. I mean imagine there I am in the mall shopping for the Yanni cd or choosing whether to get the blue Cashmere or the red, or in the restaurant deciding on a Scotch or a chardonnay and I'm all lone with no one to talk to on my phone.
