4-0 out of 5 stars I love it
I bought this for myself after i finished chemotherapy for ovarian cancer; yes I am a survivor. When my best friend went to Germany for more therapy, i slipped my bracelet off and gave it to her for good luck. butI miss having my own bracelet and need to replace it. I really love the sentiment that is expressed on the bracelet.
My only comment is that i wish it were a little larger and easier to read

5-0 out of 5 stars Love This Bracelet
This is a beautiful bracelet, not only for it's design, but also for the inspiration of the quote on it. I've had many compliments on it and love wearing it!

3-0 out of 5 stars Nice, but...
I wanted this bracelet mostly because of the excellent quote, and the engraving is very nice, but I was disappointed because it is very narrow (about 9 mm) and kind of reminds me of hospital bracelets. Also, if worn with other pieces of jewelry it gets covered or "swallowed" and outshined by these. Although overall nice, I think it could be a little wider, it doesn't look as good as in the picture, and I find it overpriced. Buy it for the words, if not for the presentation. ... Read more

    Sony DSCS75 Cyber-shot 3MP Digital Camera w/ 3x Optical Zoom
Average Customer Review: 4.5 out of 5 stars
    list price: $599.99
US | Canada | United Kingdom | Germany | France

    Editorial Review

The feature-rich Sony DSC-S75 digital camera presents a very plausible replacement for a traditional 35mm film camera. It features a 3.3-megapixel CCD, a superb Carl Zeiss Vario-Sonnar 3x optical zoom lens, 2x digital zoom (for a 6x total zoom), and other extras such as movie mode and voice recording for annotations.

The DSC-S75 is larger than most of Sony's other Cyber-shot cameras, but it's nicely weighted and benefits from the rubber grip to the left of the lens. The DSC-S75 shares many features with the Sony MVC-CD300, including a variety of modes, such as simultaneous recording of both TIFF and JPEG images, a voice mode that records an audio file of between 5 and 40 seconds together with the still image, and the ability to record both short MPEG movies with sound and animated GIFs. However, unlike the MVC-CD300, the DSC-S75 has only a two-image burst mode and no exposure bracketing feature.

Sony has added some useful features for reviewing and editing images on the camera before they have been uploaded, including a 5x LCD zoom, a slideshow feature, and the ability to enlarge and trim images. You can also divide MPEG movies into two separate files. The DSC-S75 also records the exposure, shutter speed, and aperture setting of each image for later reference.

Playback of images is either via TV by use of supplied AV cable, through a Memory Stick reader (such as the Sony MSACUS1A), or by attaching the camera to the PC via the supplied USB cable. In this last case, the camera is mounted as a new drive on your Mac or PC's desktop, allowing easy transfer of images to the hard drive.

The camera is supplied with an AC adaptor, rechargeable battery pack, 8 MB Memory Stick, AV connecting cable, shoulder strap, a rather short USB cable, and software on CD-ROM. --Nick Baxter

5-0 out of 5 stars Sony S75 Great for the amature photographer
Love this camera, Sharp pictures, easy to use, tough, a feature for every situation if you chose to get fancy.Recharagable battery lasts long and charges quick.Negs would be: slight delay between button pressed and pic taken, but seems this is common at this price range.Had it 2 years and taken 4000 pictures.

4-0 out of 5 stars kjb
This would get five stars if it didn't take so long to take a picture. As noted in other reviews, there is a significant lag between pressing the button and taking the picture - a real negative when dealing with kids or action pictures.

    What I like:

The ability to take a picture in one size and save it later as a different size. This is great for saving small files for emails, and also saving the same picture in a larger format so it has enough detail to print a crisp and clear picture.

The camera uses the same battery, memory stick and power cord as my Sony digital video camera. Less stuff to pack and carry with you on vacation.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Camera
Not a Pro, but I can vouch for this camera. Great product from Sony. You'll not be disappointed. ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars Don't Buy It!!
Panasonic should be embarrased for boasting 105 minutes in LP(long play) mode. The quality of the recording is beyond terrible. In HQ (high quality)the recording is terrific but you only have 15 minutes in total for all 4 folders.I am returning this after owning it for only 20 minutes.

1-0 out of 5 stars Not enough recording time
As a singer, I need the highest quality recording. But using the high quality recording mode with this recorder gives you only 15 minutes of recording time!C'mon, I get much more time in the old-fashioned tape recorder and the quality for that is not that bad.

2-0 out of 5 stars Clever but gimpy
Clever deveice easy to use; bought it for purpose of "taping" lectures at University, at 15 min mode sound play back was
good(standard speed)...however i was mislead, at 105 min sound quality was garbled garbage...old 8 track tape sound better with mold on it!
Format size excellent...ease of use was also excellent, however if taping more than 15 min. ( standard speed) look else where.
The product needs more memory to sustain 120 min's, plus of
memory to sustain quality of recording.
However to be useful, this product needs replaceable memory cards..one doesn't have the time to download to a computer with appropriate software to make this device useful. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Pure Brilliance
I loved this book.Smart, Funny, Sassy and everything that makes us savvy chicks giggle. This the next book that I am buying for every lady I know.

5-0 out of 5 stars Trust me, buy the book!
I've bought this book five times and lent it out to people at work who were going on vacation. I live in Florida so they never came back but...it's a great book. It empowers you to not sleep with republicans, someone should have to but not you!!!!Stop borrowing it from me and buy your own, damn it!

2-0 out of 5 stars Are they letting anyone write books these days?
Yuck - Gilman obviously is very opinionated, which is good. But it seems like hers is the only opinion that matters, which is bad.Instead of elegantly making her point, she resorts to name-calling and cursing.By the end of the book, you want to do the opposite of everything she says, just to make her angrier than she already obviously is. Save your money. ... Read more

    Editorial Review

Now you can achieve multiple viewings of the best Sex on TV.Winner of Golden Globes for Best TV Series and Best Actress, Sex and the City is based on Candace Bushnell's provocative bestselling book. Sarah JessicaParker stars as Carrie Bradshaw, a self-described "sexual anthropologist," who writes "Sex and the City," a newspaper column that chronicles the state of sexual affairs of Manhattanites in this "age of un-innocence." Her "posse," including nice girl Charlotte (Kristin Davis), hard-edged Miranda (Cynthia Nixon), and party girlSamantha (Kim Cattrall)--not to mention her own tumultuous love life--gives Carrie plenty of column fodder. Over the course of the first season's 12 episodes, the most prominent dramatic arc concerns Carrie, who goes from turning the tables on "toxic bachelors" by having "sex like a man" to wanting to join the ranks of "the monogamists" with the elusive Mr. Big (Chris Noth). Meanwhile, Miranda, Cynthia, and Samantha have their own dating woes, few of which can be described on a family Web site. Seinfeld has nothing on Sex and the City when it comes to shallow, self-absorbed characters or coining catch phrases. Episode 2, for example, introduces the term "modelizer": a guy who is obsessed with and will only date models. Some may accuse this series of male bashing. But women, after years of enduring shows with "men behaving badly," will relish the equal time. Some may blanch at the ladies' graphic language and ribald humor, or dismiss some of the situations as unrealistic (Carrie doesn't bat an eye when she discovers that an artist friend surreptitiously videotapes his sexual conquests). Still others will view Sex and the City as documentary. Regardless of your view, this groundbreaking series will have you longing for more. --Donald Liebenson ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars AWESOME SHOW!!
Okay, so I am a little behind. Since I don't have HBO I had to wait for it to come out on DVD (didn't want to watch it chopped up on TBS either). I just finished season 1. Now, I understand all the hype about it. This show is addicting. These girls are fabulous. It is so much fun watching them go through the many ups and downs of singledom (no pun intended ;)).

5-0 out of 5 stars One of the best original cable programs ever...
Based on the bestselling novel by Candace Bushnell, the HBO original series Sex And The City took the television world by storm following its release in the summer of 1998. Following the exploits of four young and educated female friends living and working in New York City, the show revolves around the various relationships and life problems experienced by each member of the group. Sporting an experienced and talented cast, the show has developed a strong, borderline fanatic following...

Sarah Jessica Parker (the de facto lead character of the show) stars as Carrie Bradshaw, a popular sex columnist for a local newspaper who travels in numerous Manhattan social circles. Carrie is engaged in a tempestuous on-again, off-again relationship with a mystery man always referred to as "Mr. Big". The young urban professional shares her life with three best friends who have similarly interesting jobs - Miranda Hobbs (Cynthia Nixon), a lawyer tired of being single given the societal ramifications; Samantha Jones (Kim Cattrall), a promiscuous publicist who enjoys non-exclusive relationships; and Charlotte McDougal (Kristin Davis), an art museum curator who is relatively less open about her sexuality... Together, the women seek each other's advice on the ever-present and varying predicaments in which they find their romantic relationships...

The Sex And The City (Season 1) DVD features a number of hilarious episodes including the series premiere in which the four stars make a pact at Miranda's birthday party that they will start having sex like men (i.e. without feeling or attachment). Charlotte is skeptical of the idea, but Carrie takes to the idea immediately by sleeping with her ex-boyfriend. Meanwhile, Miranda goes out with Carrie's friend Skipper while Samantha and Carrie develop new relationships of their own... Other notable episodes from Season 1 include "Bay of Married Pigs" in which Carrie is set up by her married friends with a man intent on getting married himself (meanwhile, all four women feel the societal pressures to get married), and "The Monogamists" in which each of the four women deals with personal issues involving exclusive/non-exclusive relationships of varying degrees...

Below is a list of episodes included on the Sex And The City (Season 1) DVD:

Episode 1 (Sex and the City)
    Episode 2 (Models and Mortals)
Episode 3 (Bay of Married Pigs)
Episode 4 (Valley of the Twenty-Something Guys)
Episode 5 (The Power of Female Sex)
    Episode 6 (Secret Sex)
    Episode 7 (The Monogamists)
    Episode 8 (Three's a Crowd)
Episode 9 (The Turtle and The Hare)
    Episode 10 (The Baby Shower)
    Episode 11 (The Drought)
Episode 12 (Oh Come, All Ye Faithful)

5-0 out of 5 stars 4 Virgins in the City
Oh baby, this was the beginning of a beautiful friendship...

Watching these first episodes with our favorite four girls is like the beginning of a new relationship, when you are dating and finding out about new people and what they like.

It is a great warm-up for hot activities between the sheets using the methods of the NEW SEX NOW dvd or for more advanced experiences ala GODDESS WORSHIP. ... Read more

Zenith Z166S Clock Radio with Sound Therapy and Night Light
Average Customer Review: 4.5 out of 5 stars
    list price: $39.99

4-0 out of 5 stars I'm all Zenithed up thinking about the Z166S!
The Z166S is a cool product. It has lots of buttons and things to play with and has some pre-recorded groovie music to mellow out too. It even has a red LED, a night light and a AM/FM radio. The night light is touch activated and if you choose will turn itself off in 15 minutes. It has a silver tone plastic shell and a LCD screen to view the time, the screen has 3 brightness settings and is easy to read late at night.

I would have given the Z166S 5 stars but there is one minor problem. The antenna is just a wire hanging out it's backside and seems to deliver poor radio reception. It would have been better if Zenith included an actual antenna.

I think with a little retro-fitting a better antenna could be applied to make the Z166S a fine product. I plan taking my Z166S apart and installing a superior antenna.

5-0 out of 5 stars Wonderful Clock!!
